Michelle, Eric, and I met up at The Frisco for dinner before bowling; it was Eric’s choice. Michelle got there first, and when I walked in and saw her sitting in a sea of old people I started to crack up. Like seriously, the average age in there must have been about 75. Mine and Michelle’s ages together would have still been younger than anyone around us.
Last night I did a little shopping then went to my sister’s house to pick up my birthday present. She gave a me a little Wonder Woman tin and a beautiful vase, both had candy in them. YUM!

At one point last night her adviser told her not to lose her patience and she said, “Oh, I don’t want to lose my patience.” The she turns and faces all the apprentice people and says, “You guys really don’t want me to lose my patience.” I was on my couch screaming, “LOSE IT MARTHA! SNAP OFF!” OMG that would have made for great TV.
So he asks for my phone number to look it up. Well, heck… I got this card like 7 or 8 years ago and I have no idea what number I put on the application or if I ever updated my info. I gave him my current home number, which I’ve had for like an eternity. The computer rejected it. So he tried it again… and again… and again. Meanwhile I’m like, CAN I JUST PAY FOR MY FREAKING SNACKS AND LEAVE?
And what is it with all these muscle guys that have awesome upper bodies and weak legs. Man, that just works my LAST nerve. One of the trainers is like that and it makes me not trust him as a trainer. Lately I’ve seen him working with several people on all of the leg machines and I find that bizzare. I would not take leg training from someone with weak legs. It’s like that saying, “Never trust a skinny cook.”
It was so nice not having to work out yesterday. I took a little nap, which is something I haven’t been able to do in weeks. Oooh, I was some kind of mad when that alarm went off to wake me from my nap. Mad and bitter… and angry. I did not want to wake up. I tried to convince myself that I could sleep a little longer, but deep down I knew I had to get up.
She was totally cute and she reminds me of Javi’s pretty blond cousin (I forgot her name) that I met in Corpus. I see her there a lot and she should totally be my best friend, except I’m not really taking on new people right now so she’s going to have to wait.
Bowling was fun! I got to meet Andy and his man, and they were both very nice. They got put on Jonathan’s team which is good because Jonathan doesn’t annoy me or gross me out… which means I can go visit with their team on bowling nights and chat.
I have nothing much to report. My Monday was long and boring. Work dragged on for an eternity, then I went to work out. I came home, made some burritos out of leftovers from Sunday, and watched Yin Sin Nan Nu (Eat, Drink, Man, Woman). I was working on finishing my scarf while I was watching it, which was a big mistake.
She has this weird hairdstyle that looks like it would be worn to a high school prom, only she’s like in her late 30’s and her the back peice of the hair is totally fake and not even the same color. The weird thing is that she has the SAME hair do EVERY DAY! She showed up to work out today wearing short (extra short) jean shorts and a long sleeve shirt. What kind of weirdness is that? The woman is seriously bizzare. I’m convinced that she sleeps standing up so that she doesn’t mess up her hair and continue wearing it EVERY DAY!
