I watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because it was on TV and nothing else was on. I’ve never seen any of the HP movies, and I wouldn’t say I’m hooked, but I enjoyed it enough to watch the other ones. I don’t think you’ll see me reading the books though.
My photo gallery on my website was down for an eternity (since Friday) because I was trying to convert it to the new version and messed it up. My hosting company took forever to restore it. It is now back up and I have uploaded the pictures from the Big Brothers Big Sisters event I attended on Sunday.
Mark wasn’t out, and Thomas had on sneakers, so I had to branch out and dance with other people. I danced with Lee, Dustin, Will, Doug, some random hot bald guy, some straight girl, Fernando, Harvey, Chad, and Andy B. Some random straight girl came up to me to tell me that her and her friends had been watching me all night and they thought I was the best dancer there. It’s funny that when girls come to talk to me there, they always have to announce that they are either straight or gay. Um? Does it really matter? Either way, you’re still a woman.
Yesterday I went to work out after work. Michelle and I tried the newer elliptical machines, the ones that are always taken up. We got on them and then couldn’t figure out how to turn them on. I looked around for a plug or switch and couldn’t find anything. Then Michelle figured out that you had to start pedaling them to get them to work. What? I have to provide the power to turn this thing on? I hope all this power I’m generating while I’m trying to punch in my program details counts towards my total time and calories!
He proceeds to walk right over to me (I was sitting on a stool), he stands between my legs, which was followed by the entire patio gawking, and then he says to me, “So what do I have to do to earn a dollar?” I was enraged with anger at his disgusting lack or decency, so without even pausing to think, I looked him dead in the eye and said, “Well, you could start by finding someone who might actually be interested in what you have to offer, because we are not. BYE!”
It doesn’t make any sense to go to Trudy’s, Hula Hut, Chuy’s, or places like that for happy hour on Friday afternoons and such. You know it’s going to be crowded with like a two hour wait to get a table. I’d rather go someplace empty and be able to sit with my friends and actually have a conversation… not to mention get get good service.
Last night I went to dinner with the Michelles (my sister and M.Lo). We went to Chilis because I was craving the Chicken Sandwich. After dinner we went to Michelle’s house so we could watch Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, which was dumber than expected. The first movie was funny, this one was not. It tried to hard to be sweet and funny, and it was neither. It wasn’t horrible or unwatchable, just not great.
Yesterday I had lunch with my sister at Dragon Gate and she gave me a present for watching her dog while she was gone. I got a bunch of mini cake pans, some sandwich cutters, and some cute little condiment bowls. I’m super excited about it all. I can’t wait to have my little brotha over and we can make sandwiches and cut them up, or make our own little individual cakes. He’s 8, so he’ll totally enjoy that.
Friday night was another night for me to relax. I had planned on going out, but didn’t. I watched The Witches of Eastwick, which was a lot darker than I had expected. I don’t like to watch movies with evil or satanic themes. It was an ok movie, but just nothing something I would normally watch.
I’m on break right now. I’m trying to do something that will keep me awake, which is why I’m typing. I have no idea what I’m going to do this weekend. I talked to my BBBS match coordinator and she said I could break the once a week visit rule and see my little this weekend. I’m not sure if I want to do that or see him early next week.
