Christmas is next week and I haven’t decorated or even begun to shop. Pity. I guess I’ll try and take care of the shopping this week.
Friday after work I went to Chuck-E-Cheese for Maya’s 4th birthday party. That place is crazy. I don’t know how parents do those parties at places like that. All those screaming children running around doped up on caffeine, sugar, and adrenaline is too much for me. There were four other birthday parties going on in the party area and the table were so close that it was nearly impossible to walk between them. It was nice seeing Gina though!
Saturday… I worked with my sister cleaning a duplex in Hutto. So not fun. The place was disgusting, but you could tell the woman never really cleaned her house before she moved out. It’s kind of funny because when she moved out she told my boss that she had cleaned her unit. My boss went to walk the property and found that she hadn’t cleaned and so she sent her a very stern email saying that she needed to go back and clean. A few days later the woman came in and turned in a checklist saying that she had cleaned, with all the applicable items on the list checked off. No. She was still lying because when I went to walk the property again it was still dirty. Her idea of cleaning apparently was leaving the mop in the kitchen sink and pouring Ajaxx all over the bathroom toilets and tubs, then leaving a few empty bottles of cleaner on the floor in the bathroom.
Saturday night I went out to Rainbow to meet up with Robert (aka Hot Rob). TJ was DJing again, which made me very happy. Matt showed up, which meant I had more boys to dance with, which again, made me very happy. I had a pretty good time, but not nearly as much fun as I had the weekend before. Robert, TJ, and I went to breakfast afterward at IHOP again. I loathe that place.
Sunday I spent the day shopping with Jorge and hanging out. We went to have lunch at El Chile, then went to the mall for a bit, went to Target for a while (and I bought a new duvet!) then we went to go see Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium, which was SO much better than I had expected. Jorge really wanted to see I am Legend, or whatever it’s called, but I can’t stand Will Smith and the idea of spending 2 hours or so watching a movie with ONLY him in it, seemed like the worst kind of torture.
Last night I just hung around the apartment watching TV. I’m super excited that I have a half day this Friday and then a FOUR DAY WEEKEND! Oh what to do!
