I’ve had a pretty damn good weekend, but now I’m exhausted for it. Friday night I was supposed to go out with my friend Robert, but he ended up being busy, so I went out anyway. Jorge and his friend met me out and we went hung out at Rainbow for a while, which was DEAD and EMPTY, then went to Rain. It was kind of busy in there, but I just don’t enjoy that place. There was also this little skinny shirtless shot boy that kept walking by checking me out and I was totally creeped out. There are a lot of people that hang out at Rain and Oil Can Harry’s that I don’t like, and that is why I don’t like going there.
Saturday I spent the day sleeping, relaxing, and watching movies. I’ve finally watched all of the AB Fab series and I’ve started watching some of the old Jennifer and Saunders DVDs. I tired watching this movie Salvajes because it had one of my favorite actresses in it, Marisa Paredes. I didn’t enjoy it, so I turned it off pretty quickly. The description of it on Netflix neglected to mention it had Nazis in it and lots of hate crime violence. No thanks.
Saturday night I went out again to Rainbow and I had a great time. I was worried that it was going to suck because Harvey and Robert weren’t going out, but it sure didn’t! Jorge met me out again, as well as TJ, Jeffrey, and Matt. And as always Jim and Lee were out. Leander showed up later in the night with his friends Mimi and Arlo (who has gorgeous eyes). Matt is hilarious and adorable. He and I were cracking each other up ALL night long. I haven’t laughed that much in a long time and it felt good.
There was this old lady, about 70 I would guess and about 5 feet tall, dressed as Mrs Claus at Rainbow and she was DRUNK. She was stumbling through the crowd on her way out and running into people. That was one of the funniest things I had seen in a long time. We were laughing as she was walking by us and she just put he hand up like “talk to the hand” and it just made me laugh harder.
After Rainbow, we went to breakfast at Magnolia Cafe. We being, Jeffrey, Jorge, Matt, TJ, and I. Jeffrey had been talking about having a Grilled Cheese and so I had a really bad craving for one, but of course Magnolia doesn’t serve them. I had a Magno Cristo instead and it was NOT the yummy. I also had “home fries”, which were actually just small lumps of potatoes with the skin still attached, YUCK. I hate “fries” with skin on them and I especially hate mashed potatoes with skin.
Today I had to do a little work and I had to go into the office because Sara was cleaning the offices and she needed some assistance with something. I was supposed to go to New Braunfels, but my little errands got in the way of it.
I’m exhausted. I’m too old to go out two nights in a week. My body is not used to it.
