My allergies are killing me. I started to feel bad last night and it’s just gotten worse all day. I’m SO tired.
It was a long week. My friend Kristi was in town starting Sunday night and stayed until Tuesday night. She was here on some personal business, but we did have some time to hang out and chit chat. It’s not like we needed to catch up. We’re always talking on the phone, so it was a nice time hanging out and relaxing… and talking in person.
I had taken off a few hours Monday and Tuesday to spend with her, so the rest of the week DRAGGED on like FOREVER. I couldn’t get back into the rhythm of being at work.
Thursday Heather asked me if I would watch her 5 year old (Sierra) for her all day Saturday… like LITERALLY ALL DAY. I agreed. So today I went to pick her up at 9:15am, and had her until 7:30pm. We went out to my parent’s ranch (Edens Ranch Alpaca), or more accurately described by it’s previous name, the Ellis Funny Farm.
Sierra had a great time feeding the Alpacas and walking them around. At first she was a little scared of them, but she got over that pretty quick when she realized that they were more scared of her than she was of them. We spent most of the day out there and she even got to swim for a little while. I took a ton of pictures and some videos.
She slept (and drooled all over herself) on the way back to Austin. We went to Sam’s to have my pictures printed and then to Target to buy a frame to put a picture in for her. We also bought some stuff to decorate the frame. We stopped at Subway for dinner and we decorated the frame while we ate. After that, we went to her place and watched TV until her daddy came home.
She was a pretty well behaved child all day. The only time she gave me any grief was when it was time to leave the ranch. She was being a little bit difficult about leaving, but other than that… she was all good all day. Heather will be so jealous that she behaved so well for me.
On my way home I stopped by HEB to get a get a Neti Pot since Paco threw away my last one… “accidentally.” I don’t get how someone accidentally throws away a Neti Pot. You can accidentally throw away papers and checks, and stuff like that all day… but a actually 3 dimensional item. No.
I think he got tired of seeing it in the bathroom, figured that I wasn’t using it (which I really wasn’t) and threw it away. But now that my allergies are acting up again, I had to get a new one and start using it again tonight.
I am also drinking a delicious Sangrita (Sangria Margarita). Mmmmmmmmmmm So I should be passed out in a short while because Sangria always knocks me out.
Tomorrow I’m working an open house with my boss at a beautiful condo downtown. You should come by and put in an offer to purchase it.
