Friday night I went with Paco to the mall to exchange the shoes he bought me for our anniversary. I’m excited about wearing them now, they are really starting to grow on me.

After the mall we went to dinner, but we were having a hard time deciding on where to go. We ended up at Whole Foods because we had been wanting to try some things there. He got some Shrimp Paella thing and I had a DELICIOUS sandwich. We both had Tres Leches for dessert. It was fun sitting in there watching all the weirdos and hippies shop.

Saturday I got up late and went to lunch with my new friend, Robert. We had lunch at Chuy’s then hung out at my place chatting and watching Catch and Release. I had just received it from Netflix and he had just rented it the night before, but neither of us had watched it yet.

It was pretty good. Jennifer Garner annoys me a little, but I liked her in this. I think I really only selected it because it has Kevin Smith in it, who I find oddly attractive, in that same way that I always thought “Al” from Home Improvement was kind of hot. It was very predictable and had a lot of standard Hollywood plot turns and “surprises”, but it was still worth watching… on DVD. I wouldn’t have wanted to pay theater prices to see it.

When Paco came home, him and I went to visit M.Lo in her new house. She just bought a house in Pflugerville. I hate going up that way because all of those new roads and toll-roads are so confusing. I don’t go up there enough anymore to know how to get around. Her house is super cute and I’m sure it’ll become even cuter as she redecorates it.

We went to dinner at Pluckers and had HORRIBLE service, then went back to her place and watched Norbit. It was pretty funny, not as funny as I had expected, but still pretty darn funny. Eddie Murphy is such an underrated talent. I really think he should have won the Oscar this past time. Who won? I don’t even remember.

Today I have been busy. I had to go return some shirts to Old Navy, then go to Paco’s mom’s apartment to take pics of his Mazda so we can finally sell it. If you’d like to buy it: http://austin.craigslist.org/car/349069571.html check it out!

I’ve been doing laundry, cleaning, working on websites, and listening to my iTunes. A while ago I accidentally deleted all of my ratings, and I was about 95% done rating all of my music. So I’m trying to rate them all again. It won’t be easy since I have about 11261 songs in my library.

I still don’t have my new DSL modem. It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday. I need to call them on Monday and give them an ear full of cusses. I feel so 1995 with this dial-up connection. I got so annoyed at the speed that I went to my apartment complex business office to use the free wireless for a few hours.
