It’s been a pretty tame week. Not much went on. Tuesday was game night and we all (except that punk Tomas) met up at my sister’s house to watch Idol and play her Wii. I was sad that Melinda got booted from Idol. She’s the best singer by far, but she’s older and I think the audience wanted someone younger and more hip.
I’m sure it’s better for her anyway, she’ll probably get a much better contract with someone else and have freedom to chose what she wants to do with her career. I’m thinking Jordan will probably win, because Blake is just a bit too different.
Playing the Wii was fun and a lot of exercise. Those controllers take some getting used to. I’m really surprised that the graphics are not much better.
I don’t have much else to say. I have my orientation at Target today. I’m excited about that. I’m leaving work at 3 to go to orientation there at 4.
I’m super excited about the new Madonna CD that should be coming out soon (hopefully). I wasn’t a huge fan of her last two CDs. American Life was ok and there are a few songs on there that I love, but the majority was not really my favorite Madonna style of music.
Confessions on a Dance Floor had some gems as well, but again not my style. I was so excited for that CD because it was going to be dance music, but then it turned out to be the kind of dance music I don’t like so much. If she had made that CD with Hex Hector, Jonathan Peters, or Junior Vasquez, then I probably would have like it a lot more.
This CD is supposed to be more R&B style, which reminds me of her CD Bedtime Stories, which is my FAVORITE Madonna CD. I’m super excited that she’s working with Justin Timberlake too. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS!
