The weekend is over and I’m need another day to relax. It was HOT this weekend. When it’s that hot out it is easy to get dehydrated and feel worn out.

Saturday morning we woke up early to head down to San Antonio to pick up Paco’s friend, Marco, from the airport. We had to be there at 9:30, and we left the apartment a little after 8. We got to the airport late, of course, and it actually worked out because it took him forever to get through customs.

On the way back from San Antonio we stopped at the Outlets to do some shopping. I had forgot to bring a hat and so I was not too happy about walking around in the sun for a long time, letting the top of my bald head fry. It was SO hot out! I can’t believe it’s this hot already and it’s only May. We are going to be dying in July and August. Marco couldn’t believe it either, and kept saying how nice the weather was in Mexico. Yes, I’m sure the weather is nice there… and I’m sure you have plenty of time to think about it while you’re getting mugged.

We stopped in downtown Austin for lunch, took a short tour of downtown, and then went home for a short nap because we were all dehydrated and worn out.

Saturday night we went to dinner at Chez Zee and then to a party at Paco’s friend’s house. I was bored out of my mind. Everyone was speaking in Spanish and too fast for me to understand. We were only supposed to stay one hour but we ended up being there for two and half.

When we got downtown I ditched them and went to Rainbow because I wanted to dance and see MY friends. It was late, so the dancing wasn’t so good anymore because the dance floor was filled with rowdy drunk Lesbians. I like to be there at 10 because the dance floor is empty and the Lesbians are still sober and not dancing. Nothing against the Lesbians in general, but the ones at Rainbow are sloppy messy drunks and they spill their beers all over the dance floor!

While I was dancing I noticed there was a new DJ. I thought he was kind of cute. The more I looked at him, the more I realized he reminded me of this guy I dated, Brian. Later I was asking Thomas if TJ wasn’t DJing anymore and then he said something like, “I don’t know about TJ but this new guy’s name is something like Brian.” Oh snap… it was my ex!

I left Rainbow after 2 hours because I didn’t have any fun dance partners anymore. The boys always leave when the hip hop music plays. I met up with Paco and his friends at Oil Cans and we stayed there for about thirty minutes, then went home.

Sunday we got up kind of early and went to have brunch at Manuel’s then went shopping. We spent most of the day shopping at Fryes, Best Buy, Target, and Barton Creek Mall. At Barton Creek i saw this guy and he looked so familiar to me. The instant I saw him, I thought “He has bad body ordor.” I couldn’t think of anything else or where I knew him from, but I knew he had BO.

After we left it finally occurred to me that he is a friend of a friend. I met him at a party and he sat next to me and STANK so bad. He had the strongest BO and it nearly killed me. Funny how that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw him.

After the shopping, we went to Hula Hut on the Lake. OMG it was SO HOT and they had an hour and ten minute wait. We went out to the bar and there were not tables with umbrellas so we had to stand in the heat. Thankfully, I had a hat this time! We waited in the sun for half the time and then some seats at the bar came open and we got to sit by the fans, in the shade.

Dinner was good and we had fun people watching. It was funny to see Paco with his friend all weekend because Paco NEVER drinks, but with Marco he drank a lot. Saturday night he had four Tequila shots and three beers, and then he had three margaritas at dinner Sunday night.

We went home after that and the boys took a nap while I watched Desperate Housewives and Brother’s and Sisters, then they got up and went out to Rainbow. I wanted to go, but there was no way I could have done that, and then come to work today.

Something to say?
