I’m trying to eat this mango and it is not working out. I think it’s too ripe. It’s super mushy. I’m about to give up and throw it in the blender to make a Daiquiri!

I saw the birds fighting again today. It was just for a few minutes though. At least now I know they are both still alive!

I’ve been getting to do some graphic design stuff at work and it’s super fun. I just need to be careful not to spend too much time doing that stuff because I can’t ignore the other stuff. Today I didn’t get to the bank before 3 because I was so engrossed in doing a mail piece for one of my boss people. I like what I’ve done, but I think I could do better. Maybe tonight I’ll get some inspiration to make it better.

I got to speak Spanish with a caller today. This guy called asking for information on a house and asked if I spoke Spanish. I told him yes, but I understand a lot more than I speak. I did really well too, or at least I think! There were not any words that I didn’t know. I didn’t know how to say “application fee” so I just said “$40 dollars to apply.”

Does anyone know what REALTOR is in Spanish?

I got a call from Target today and I have another interview on Saturday. Woot Woot. I never thought I’d be so excited about working at Target, but I am. I think it’ll be fun and a great way to kill time and make money. It’s going to be so hard for me to stop myself from spending all my money there.

My friend Kristi is trying to hook me up with a friend of a friend, who happens to be a Senator, to do some graphic design for him. I’m SO super excited about it, but a little down because he’s a Republican. Do I really want to have any part in helping another Republican get into office? Um, if it means I get to add it to my portfolio… YES.

OH! So today around 11am Paco called, and I almost didn’t answer because I was busy at work, and usually when he calls during the day it’s just to chit-chat. Luckily I answered because he had a problem. He had a flat tire and couldn’t find the tire iron in his car. Luckily my new super nice bosses let me leave to go help him. He had his tire iron, but didn’t realize that the jack crank doubled as a tire iron. The other problem was that the jack crank was stuck to the jack and it wouldn’t come off. I had to beat it several times with my tire iron. Still I was able to drive from South 1st to Riverside, fiddle with his jack, change the tire, and get back to work in 30 minutes! I’m a pro at changing tires!

Ok, it’s time to go make my Daiquiri!

Something to say?
