So I’ve been working again now three days and so far it’s been really good. The person I am replacing trained me yesterday and today, and will do so again tomorrow, so I’m learning a lot. It’s a little busier than it was at the beginning of the week, which is great.
I haven’t been doing much after work. Paco’s schedule has changed, so he’s leaving work later and he’s been going to the gym after work. I should have been going to the gym with him, but I’ve been taking it easy. I really strained some muscles in my back last week and they are still bothering me.
Today I am going to the gym with him because he needs me to show him how to work the elliptical machines. Well, I’m going for that and because I really should go for myself.
It’s so different working in this office because it’s so much less stress. It has it’s moments when it gets kind of busy, but nothing like the insanity of the last job. After that job, I can do anything!
I love working downtown again and just being able to drive around in the area. I wouldn’t mind moving back down here, but I think I want to wait a bit. Hopefully I can sign a 6 month lease with my apartments (mine is up at the end of May) and maybe move down here then. I’m sure Paco would like to live down here as well.
Today has been a lot of fun because I got to go on to “field trips”. This morning I went to let a moving company into a property and then a little while later my boss took me on a trip. At three I’m going to a class up north. It’s so beautiful outside that it’s a great day for driving around.
I really like the girl training me, but I’m anxious to take over. Next week will be great because I can rearrange the desk and all the files. I can also bring some stuff of mine in. I could probably do it now, but I’m sure it would be a little awkward.
Paco wants to go to San Antonio this weekend. That might be fun, but we’ll see. I don’t think he has any concept of time. He always thinks we have plenty of time to do things, so we’ll see if this actually happens.
Oh, check it out… here are some pics of the sign that I made for our cleaning company. They are being displayed at a 3M trade show. They liked my design so much that they decided to use them in their trade shows and conventions.
The first picture cracks me up because crazy Fran looks like she’s trying to hide from customers.

really cute sign. No wonder they want to use it. You should use your talent to make yourself money. You could design logos for people!
