I can’t believe it’s already 2007. I still can’t believe Christmas is gone. I worked so much and was so stressed out that I didn’t even really get to fully enjoy Christmas. Now it’s the New Year and my little Christmas break at work is over and it’s back to being busy.
Last week was so nice at work. I can’t talk about it publicy because you never know what kind of spies there are out there reading my journal and all.
This weekend was fun. Saturday night I went out with Rainbow with Paco. I didn’t have as much fun as last time because Paco went with me. I wanted him to go and I’m happy he went, but when he’s there I don’t dance as much because I don’t want to ignore him. He went over to Rain and Oil Cans with some friends after a while and then I was able to do more dancing.
I met up with him at Oil Cans after Rainbow emptied out. I was so annoyed at having to wait in line to get in there. What is with the lines at Rain and Oil Cans? There never used to be lines at Oil Can’s. It’s stupid and I hate it!
Sunday Paco was off from work so we spent the day together hanging out, shopping, and watching movies. Late in the night (around 9) we went to his mother’s house for dinner and to celebrate New Years Eve. That was fun. His mother has all these crazy superstitions and traditions for New Years. When midnight hits she rings a bell, throws a bucket full of water outside, throws rice outside, we all have to tie a dollar in a knot, we make three wishes, eat 12 grapes, and toast. It was pretty funny watching her running around trying to do everything.
Monday Paco and I slept in and then spent the day together. We went to Mt Bonnell first, because he had never been and I wanted to be outside. We took a bunch of pictures. Paco loves having his picture taken almost as much as I do.

After that, we went on a drive around Austin, looking at rich people homes and then we went to the mall. I was looking for some all white Pumas, and he wanted an all white hat from Abercrombie. He also wanted his picture taken in front of the Austin Skyline.
Today I’m back at work and SO not loving it. Thankfully I only have to work until Thursday. I’m off Friday because I’m FINALLY getting my wisdom teeth pulled… all four at once. Sadly, I would rather be doing that then be at work.
