Friday I went to two parties. One was right after work for this guy that was retiring. I went more for his wife, because we work with her too, and she’s lots of fun. I wasn’t too thrilled about having to see a bunch of work people though. I didn’t stay too long because I had to be at another party. The worst part was that these parties were not close. It took me an hour to drive from way north of Austin to way south Austin, but it was worth it.

Dustin’s party was a lot of fun. We hung out, had drinks, and played games. Just a nice night of laid back fun.

Saturday I slept in most of the day. I’ve been kind of sick lately because of all the stress at work. I think I might be getting ulcers. I did a little bit of Christmas shopping. I bought some wrapping paper and made gift tags, but I really didn’t buy much. I haven’t been in the mood to shop, and especially not for other people. So I went home and watched movies and napped.

Saturday night I went shopping again with Paco and I bought three presents. I was surprised that he got off work so early and that we actually had time to do something. Usually he doesn’t get home until 7 or 9. Sunday I did a little more shopping, napped a lot, and watched another movie.

We watched Lucky Number Slevin this weekend, which was really good. It has Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, and Lucy Lui in it. It’s not my normal type of movie because it has a lot of blood and murder in it, but I still enjoyed it.

Monday night Paco was supposed to work, but he stayed home instead, so we got to hang out again. We went to a private shopping party at Smith & Hawken, but I didn’t find anything I needed to buy. Then we went to Crate & Barrel, Express, Gap, and Banana Republic. Paco bought a present for his mother, but that was all.

Last night was game night. We met at Chilis for dinner, then went bowling. Javi didn’t show up again, for like the 5th week in a row. I sucked at the bowling. I wasn’t really in the mood and I was very tired. Today I had to really convince myself to come to work. I was about to call in half day, but then remembered that I have to interview someone at 9:30.
