Friday I didn’t work too late; only until five. I came home and decorated for Halloween in my apartment. I LOVE DECORATING. Paco came home late and we went to dinner at Mood & Food, right here near my apartment. The food is really good, but it’s a little bit pricey in there.
Saturday I woke up late (10) and didn’t do much. I did a little shopping at Target. That place is so addictive. It’s so hard to go in for just one thing, and come out with JUST that one thing. I went in for a new razor and foil for my electric razor, but they didn’t have mine in stock. I ended up buying some Halloween stuff, two pairs of sunglasses, a container for all of my Halloween stuff, and some gum.
My sister and Javi dropped by about the same time. Michelle didn’t stay, she just got what she came for and left. Javi and I watched Grandma’s Boy, which was pretty funny. Jesse recommended it to me, and I was kind of worried about it because his last recommendation stunk. He’s back on my good list now.
Paco came home shortly after the movie and I and I made dinner for us. I cooked Teriyaki chicken, rice, and egg drop soup. Mmmmm I love egg drop soup, but I always wish there was more egg in it, so this time I used two eggs instead of one. MISTAKE. It was practically all egg and kind of a bit gross. Oh well, you have to try these things to learn right?
We watched I Love You Baby, which is a movie in Spanish, filmed in Madrid. It has one of my favorite hotties in it, Jorge Sanz. When Paco saw his name in the credits he was all, “AGAIN!” Every movie we have watched for like the past three months has had either Jorge Sanz or Eduardo Noriega in it, and one had both of them. So I had to promise to rent some movies with Matthew McConaughey in them, because that’s his favorite actor now. Ever since he watched Failure to Launch, he can’t stop talking about Matthew.
Today I got up before him and started making breakfast. I cooked chorizo and egg tacos and some pancakes. I used some cookie cutters to make pancakes in the shape of bats, cats, pumpkins, and Frankensteins. It was a mess at first because I forgot to spray the cutters with Pam, so the pancakes stuck in them and I had all kinds of trouble. I got better at it, but they still weren’t perfect. I’ve been looking for pancake molds, but I haven’t found any yet. I need to go to Smith and Hawken.
Paco left for work around noon, and Xoch is on her way over to hang out and we’ll probably watch my other movie from Netflix. Oh yesterday I worked on printing some pics for me and some for my portfolio. Here are the ones I did for me. This is from the last time I went out to Rainbow and decided I was going to go out like a UT Longhorn fan. I remember that day wondering if it was even football season yet. THANKFULLY it was and lots of people were sporting their longhorn pride… not as much as me… but then I always go overboard.
I had meant to buy some longhorn stickers so I could put one on my white hat, but forgot. It was 8 o’clock when I remember and I didn’t have enough time to run out and buy any, and I didn’t even know where I could find any. So I downloaded the logo from the web, uploaded the pics to HEB Photo and had them printed. Luckily my HEB prints photos within about 20 minutes, so by the time I got dressed and over to HEB they were ready. I came home, cut them out, applied double stick tape the back, and BAM… I had my own sticker.
