Well my weekend was ok, not too much happened.

Friday night I worked at home on my dad’s website and my own. Saturday morning I got up early and went to my parent’s house to help out my dad with his website and show him how to use it. I still have some small things to tweak with his site, but it’s coming along nicely.

Saturday night Paco and I went to dinner at The County Line, and it was busy in there. I don’t like eating in busy restaurants. I don’t like all the noise and the chatter. Afterwards, we took a nap, then went bowling with M.Lo, J.Lo, and J.Lo’s friend Courtney.

Francisco had never been bowling before, so I had to explain to him how to do it, which wasn’t easy in Spanglish. He caught on pretty well and actually bowled pretty good for a new guy. We had so much fun together. I brought my camera and everyone was taking pictures with it. The girls (J.Lo and Courtney) were going crazy with it, taking pictures of everything.

These are my favorite pics, but the rest are located here: http://tomithey.com/gallery/20060916

There was this crazy grandma bowling next to us that kept yelling at everyone around her. She didn’t like when anyone was in her eyesight when she got up to bowl. You had to be standing behind her, or she’d yell at you. Whatever! We didn’t want to fight with her, so we just stayed out of her way, but this table full of teenagers showed up and they were ignoring her demands. She got SO mad. She slammed her ball down into the ball return and started yelling and cussing at them. It was ridiculous! Then she went and told the management on them.

They didn’t want to put up with her, so they switched lanes. We just ignored her and stayed out of her way. She was clearly insane. The funny thing is that she wasn’t even bowling well. She bowled UNDER 100! I can see acting like that (MAYBE) if you were bowling close to a perfect game, but whatever… she sucked. She reminded me of some of those idiots that we bowled with on the league… the same idiots that eventually annoyed us into quitting. Acting like that takes all of the fun out of bowling.

After bowling we dropped the kids off and went to Baby Acapulco’s for drinks. Paco shocked us by ordering a drink. He never drinks, and not only did he have one drink, he had some of mine and he had a shot! We had so much fun at Baby A’s. Our waiter was a blast and we spent all night chatting with him and joking around. Coincidentally, one of M.Lo’s friends from high school was in the restaurant at another table, so he came over and hung out with us for a while too. It was funny because when they sat down, we all noticed and Michelle said, “There’s a whole table full of homos.” She hadn’t recognized him yet, so we were busy hate criming them.

Our waiter was gay as well, so we had a blast teasing him too. He’s the guy in the last picture (above) with Paco and I. We started talking about MySpace and so we ended up swapping IDs. He’s now on my MySpace friends list.

Sunday Paco and I slept in SUPER late. I was horribly sore and not feeling well. My body has been really tense and achy from all the stress at work, so bowling just aggravated all those muscles and they tightened up some more. I was miserable and didn’t feel like doing anything. We did however go to lunch at the Texican Cafe and then went walking at the mall for a while to make our tummies feel better.

After all of that, we went back home and watched Cha Cha Cha, a Spanish movie. It had both of my crushes in it, Eduardo Noriega and Jorge Sanz. It was a cute movie, but a little disturbing. This girl tries to steal her best friend’s man by hiring a gorgeous actor (Eduardo) to seduce her so that she’ll break up with her boyfriend. It has an interesting twist at the end.

Paco’s favorite show came on after the movie, Cantando por un Sueno. As we were watching that, I heard some strange sounds coming from outside, so I opened the blinds and saw that it was raining outside, like monsoon raining. Minutes later, the power went out. We were sitting in total darkness for like 10 seconds when Paco said, “Tom… tengo miedo.” (I’m scared). I cracked up!

I got up to light some candles, but the power came right back on and we continued watching his show. We’ve been watching his show for weeks now and I still don’t really understand what is going on. I know they are competing singing to make some dream come true and all of the dreams are like horrible health problems that they need cured or operations and such. I just don’t understand all the rules and how it works. Regardless, it’s still enjoyable to watch.

Saturday while I was working with my dad’s website, I tried to upgrade the software on my Gallery on my website and screwed it all up. I had to reinstall it all and I lost all of my albums. I am having to rebuild them now. I’ve rebuilt the entire structure, but I haven’t uploaded all the photos yet. That is going to take a lot of time.
