This past month and a half have been horrible stressful at work and so I decided that I was going to hide out this weekend and just stay in by myself. Paco had to work all weekend, so I was going to be by myself for the majority of it.
Friday night he got home last and was tired. We tried to watch Belle Epoque together, but he fell asleep. Saturday I woke up early and finished watching it while working on my portfolio. I’m trying to make a portfolio of all the graphic design stuff I have made recently. I don’t know why I’m doing it. It’s not like I’m going to go into business or anything like that. I guess it was just something to do to keep me busy and get my mind off of work.
I also worked a little on creating a new website for my dad’s business. He wanted to be able to sell items and update his site, so I set him up with all of that. His old site is at http://www.edensranchalpaca.com and the new one is http://www.edensranch.com. I need to help him get his old domain re-routed to the new site. I wasn’t able to do much on the site because I had just purchased it and the domain wasn’t completely resolved yet.
Sunday I woke up early again and spent nearly the entire day working on my dad’s website. It’s almost completely finished. I just need to do a little fine tuning and edit the gallery to look more like the rest of the site. A few things I can’t do without his input though… so that will have to wait until the weekend.
Paco (Francisco) was at work all day and didn’t come home until 2. We had lunch together and then he did laundry and watched TV while I worked on the site. I guess it’s pretty obvious by now that Paco and I are living together. I never thought I’d live with anyone again, but well… I am. It’s not 100% official yet, but he does stay at my apartment every night, his clothes and shoes are there, his cologne, and most of his toiletries. We are officially moving in together in October, after our vacation to New York.
Ok, I need to get busy doing some work stuff…
