Things have been crazy busy at work lately. I’ve been working 10 to 11 hours every day. August and September are our peak months and we are down one person. It’s been a bit of a challenge trying to get all of his stuff sorted out, cleaned up, and reassigned to other people.

Tuesday night I went with my gang to see Little Miss Sunshine at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar. Michelle and I ate, before going, at Sonic. We’re not big fans of the Alamo food. The movie theater was packed and we had to sit in the second row! Ugh, it’s always horrible having to sit that close. The screen is all pixelated, you feel like you watching the movie from the ground, and you have to turn your heard from side to side just to see the entire screen.

Even with all of that, the movie was great. It was very funny, original, and well done. Steve Carell was funny, without even trying. Toni Collette was great as kind of a white trash housewife and mom. Greg Kinnear was HOT and funny. The best part was little miss sunshine, Abigail Breslin. She was hilariously crazy!

Last night Paco and I stayed up too late watching Inside Job. Not my kind of movie, but I still enjoyed it. I would never have picked it to watch. It was interesting, but I really didn’t get into it.

I think my boss is in a bad mood today. I got in trouble for coming in late. My 3M boss here in Austin sent this to my Adecco boss in St Paul: “We had no local coverage this morning until 8:00 AM. Was this known or a surprise to you? Can you tell me how many calls were lost due to this?”

Ugh, sometimes he can be such an ass. Dale was scheduled to be off until 10, and I called in a hour late. I had the after hours phone, so any important calls would have rolled over to it, and I did get one call as I was getting ready to come in. I think he’s trying to find things to complain about since we fired his pet, Dan. Whatever.
