Tuesday night was game night and we went to Pei Wei for to-go food and then over to Eric’s to play The Settlers of Catan. At first I thought was kind of lame, but then when I started winning, and literally annihilated Eric and Javi, I was like, “OMG I LOVE THIS GAME! This is the bestest game EVER!” Yeah, yeah, I was a poor sport, and a bad winner. But seriously, I wasn’t just winning, I owned the board!
We watched some cartoon movie from the Logo channel, called “Queer Duck” and it was LAME. I wasn’t amused. There were a few funny parts, but really it was over the top and I thought they were trying too hard to be funny and trying to cram way too many jokes and puns into every scene. The idea was cute and if it had been better executed, I think it could have been a lot more funny.
Last night Francisco came over and we hung out. I made dinner and we watched the finale of So You Think You Can Dance. I’m not too shocked that Benji won, although I was really hoping it would be Travis. I really didn’t like Benji or Heidi in the beginning, but I grew to really enjoy them. I was thinking last night that it really could have been anyone but Donyelle to win. I love Donyelle, but it was clear that she was definitely going to be in fourth place.
Donyelle was my favorite (along with Benji) in the beginning, but these past weeks she just flopped. I’m sure it was partly her injuries and exhaustion, but the other three stayed strong. It’s a little sad because I thought at the start of the season she was the one to beat.
