Last night I did some shopping. Again, I should have cleaned, but really, who wants to do that? I did do my laundry, so at least I was partially productive. I went to Target to do some shopping. I needed to get a gift for Gina’s baby shower this weekend. I got one thing, but I still need something else. I wasn’t having the most luck with the shopping.
I downloaded a lot of music recently, and I’ve been getting a lot of CDs from www.lala.com, so I have more new music than I even have time to enjoy. I’ve been reading and hearing about how Justin Timberlake says he’s going to redefine dance music. Hmmmm… So I downloaded his new song, Sexy Back. It’s a good song, and I enjoy it, but I hope this isn’t what he is basing that statement on.
This song songs a lot like that NSYNC song from a few years back, Pop. It’s also reminds me a lot of George Michael’s Too Funky, and even sounds very similar to Fergie’s new song, London Bridge. This isn’t exactly a new form of dance music. It sounds like a lot of dance music that has been out there for years, just maybe not as mainstream.
So maybe the more correct statement would be that he’s going to popularize an already existing, but less mainstream, form of dance music. Granted that’s a lot of words and doesn’t sound as cool as “redefine dance music”, but at least it’s not a big fat lie. I do like Justin’s music, and I’m excited for his new CD to come out. I didn’t buy the last one, but I do have some of the songs from it. I’m sure I won’t buy this one either.
I really like Fergie’s new song (London Bridge), it’s addicting and it gets stuck in my head for hours and hours and hours. The only problems I have with Fergie are that she has destroyed her face with plastic surgery and now looks oddly like Amanda Lepore’s younger sister… and that every time someone says Fergie, my first thought is, “The Duchess of York?”

amanda didnt say much but avadora took sometime at miu miu fashion to talk to me,who cares if your plastic ,if you look good…….they are nice warme people ,witha diferent look at life….i could not tell their age,avadora was flawless ,ageless ,i was not sure if she had plastic surgery,,,,,,,,,she said that she looks good thanks to the spa she ownes in rhode island,secluded private skin care made and formulated by the model her self…well what evr shes doing works,she looks amazing..amanda just sipped on champaigne
