Well, I was right, I didn’t clean last night. But it wasn’t totally my fault. I started off working on a project for my friend Dustin. He’s having a birthday party this weekend, and I was getting something together for that. Then I went out shopping to pick up what I needed for it, and I made a stop at HEB and when I went back out to my truck, my battery was dead.

DEAD!

How rude is that? It’s been acting up lately, acting like it doesn’t want to start and stuff, and then it just up and died on me. I was pissed, or as pissed as I can be on these meds, which is really just mildly agitated. Anyway, I called Jeremy (OMG HOTNESS his MySpace profile) to come jump me. He showed up with his man Seth and they helped me out. It was kind of funny because Seth was the only one that new what he was doing with the jumper cables, but at the same time Jeremy caught him making the connection wrong.

Jeremy was looking delicious. I just recently found out that he had the hots for me, yup warm for my form, but it’s too late for all of that because he has a man and so do I, but if our situations should ever change, I would be all over that.

Anyway, so they jumped me and I went over to Autozone to have my battery tested. I hate dealing with auto stuff because I know nothing about it. I don’t know if I’m getting tricked or ripped off, and I think they can sense that. The guy tested my battery and the machine said it was bad, and well I couldn’t really argue with that because it did die on me.

I ended up buying a new battery. They tried to talk me into buying the expensive super powerful battery, but what’s the point? It’s just a battery! I didn’t get the cheapest though. I bought a nice middle range battery and it’s actually kind of cute, and has a fun handle.

After all that drama was over, I went home and worked on Dustin’s present. I am so excited to give it to him this weekend!

I have been playing in Macromedia Flash some more lately, and I did a postcard in Photoshop for a coworker, it’s nothing special but it’s cute. I threw it together super quick for her and I messed up on the car, erased the driver’s side wheel, because the original pic was dark and I couldn’t make out a lot of details. I could have drawn it back in, but like I said, it was a rush job. (you can click all of the pics to see them larger)

She wanted a postcard of New York, using this car because it belonged to her aunt at one time. She also wanted the Statue of Liberty in the shot. Well, getting all three of those in one shot wasn’t easy, but I think I did a good job.

Her postcard inspired me to make my own, so I did this. I took the Austin letter idea from a picture I took of a building downtown, but I re-drew the letters and filled them with different pics and added my own background. I know the blue bonnets in the background are kind of girly, but it’s the state flower, so suck it.

When I showed Francisco my Austin postcard he said he wanted something similar with his name and his pictures. So I made these yesterday. They have no real purpose except they helped me kill some time.

While cleaning up my files on my computer, I came across these two old pics of M.Lo and I before the Cher concert three years ago.

Something to say?
