Tuesday night was game night and we had plans to see John Tucker Must Die. First I went by M.Lo’s office to visit with her and give her something that I brought back from Vegas, then Michelle, Eric, Javi, and I met up at Burger-Tex for dinner. Next, off to the movies in the ghetto. Xoch met us at the ghetto theater.

Every time we go to this theater we get some idiots sitting next to us that insist on loud talking all throughout the movie. This time was no exception. There were four adults directly in front of us with two kids. The kids loud talked and the parents, like not even trying to whisper! I just don’t understand people like that. And why would you bring a baby and a 4 year old to see this movie? You know they aren’t going to be able to sit still that long!

Anyway, the movie was just ok. I didn’t expect it to be anything fantastic, I knew it was going to be cheesy and silly, but I did expect more that what we got. It felt a little bit rushed and contrived. I also expected the girls to do more drastic things to John, hello the word DIE is in the name of the movie. Some of the things they did were funny, and the movie definitely had some good laughs, but overall it’s not worth the theater price. Wait for rental.

Last night I did laundry and hung out with Francisco. We watched So You Think You Can Dance. I’d like to say that Natalie and Ivan are going to get voted off tonight, but America is dumb, so I’m not too sure. Those two definitely deserve to be voted off. Although, I actually enjoyed their jazz routine last night. Granted, I don’t have the technical expertise to critique it like the judges do, but I thought it was very entertaining. It was definitely more believable than Benji doing hardcore hip-hop.

I’m not sure what I am going to do tonight. I think I want to watch a movie and relax. It’s been a difficult week.

One Response to “John Tucker”

Heidi and Travis were the best thing about last night. Both of their numbers were awesome.

Donyelle was disappointing though. I wasn’t feeling her like I usually do. It was like she was just there, and not very into it. This is the first week I haven’t voted for her.

If Ivan doesn’t get kicked off tonight. . . He SUCKS, and I’m so glad that Nigel and Mary finally admitted it, albeit in nicer terms.

Something to say?
