Friday marked two months with Francisco. I’m a little shocked that we have gone this far, but at the same time I did have the feeling that this would be a longer relationship.

Friday he had some problems with his car and I had to leave work early to go pick him up. That took a big chunck of time, then we went to have dinner at Chez Zee, then back to my place to chill out. The chilling out did not last too long, we ended up going to the gym to work out. Well, he worked out and I just did cardio.

Saturday I got up kind of late and went to have lunch with my friend Victor and his friend Larry. They are from Dallas and had driven in for the weekend. We went to lunch at a kind of new place in the AMLI building on 2nd street. It was good food, but more importantly, they had $5 bottomless Mimosas and Bellinis. You know I was all over that. After lunch, we did some shopping on South Congress, then I dropped them off at their hotel and I went home to nap.

I had never met Victor in person, because I only know him through MySpace. We have talked on the phone and we email a lot, but hadn’t met yet. He was just like I thought he would be and totally fun in person.

Saturday night we went out to Rainbow to meet up with Victor and Larry. We had the best time. We didn’t stay at Rainbow too long, just long enough for me to get some dances in, do a line dance, a few cumbias, chat with my friends, and then be off. Francisco even danced with me to a country song and the cumbias, which he has never done before.

We went over to Rain and Oil Cans, but it was still early so nobody was out. We went over to Charlie’s and it was DEAD empty in there, but we did see Eric, Shannon, and Blayne. We ditched that place and went back to Oil Cans.

Sunday I slept in again and really didn’t do much all day. I watched Abre Los Ojos with Francisco. It’s the original version of Vanilla Sky, but much much much better. I couldn’t watch Vanilla Sky, it was extremely boring and I only got through about 15 to 20 minutes of it before I turned it off. Abre Los Ojos had some slow parts, but mostly it was pretty good movie. I kept trying to figure it out and I think I was overthinking it all because I kept getting confused. I like movies that keep me guessing, even if I do spend the entire movie being frustrated.

Something to say?
