Sunday I slept in again and really didn’t do much all day. I watched Abre Los Ojos with Francisco. It’s the original version of Vanilla Sky, but much much much better. I couldn’t watch Vanilla Sky, it was extremely boring and I only got through about 15 to 20 minutes of it before I turned it off. Abre Los Ojos had some slow parts, but mostly it was pretty good movie. I kept trying to figure it out and I think I was overthinking it all because I kept getting confused. I like movies that keep me guessing, even if I do spend the entire movie being frustrated.

I recorded So You Think You Can Dance so that I could watch it later and fast forward through the boring parts. I cannot believe that Allison got booted and Natalie got to stay. Come on! Granted, Natalie can dance, but she’s definitely not as good as Allison. Thankfully Ryan got booted and not Travis. Ryan should have gotten booted a long time ago, he annoys me.

It was crazy hot in Vegas. I don’t care what people say about it being a dry heat, when it’s 110 degrees at 10pm, it doesn’t matter if it’s dry or humid, it’s still unbearable… especially when you are standing in a line a mile long at the airport waiting for a cab and the heat is compounded by the exhaust fumes and 100 people in line smoking like chimneys. I think we lost a few years off our lives in that line.

It was kind of fun, but Eric was behaving very oddly all night. Even at dinner he was kind of weird. It’s hard to explain, he was acting funny and overly chatty. He said he had taken a Vivarin before dinner. I think that, combined with the alcohol, made him goofy. It was funny during dinner, and Michelle and I couldn’t stop giggling at him. It was still funny during Bingo, but I think the ladies next to us were getting annoyed. The one next to me kept touching me and telling me things, like we were best friends or something. “If you REALLY want to win, you have to be quiet and concentrate. You have to concentrate REALLY hard.” “You have to put the lids to your dobbers facing up if you want to win.” Ok………

We had fun in there laughing and carrying on. Our table was late, so they gave us all one complimentary bar drink. WE LOVE FREE DRINKS! We were in our own private room and we were kind of rowdy. We heard the waiter at the table right outside our room say, “Here is your vegetable stuffed ravioli (or whatever it was).” We all collectively, and loudly, said, “EEEUUUUUUWWWWWW!” When we left the table gave us all dirty looks. PITY.

Last night I played on my computer and watch So You Think You Can Dance. I’m pretty sure Ashlee and Ryan will be gone tomorrow. It should be Ashlee and Dmitri, but America is shallow and they will keep him on because he’s attractive. I don’t think he’s all that attractive though. I’m betting the top three with be Allison, Donyelle, and either Ivan or Travis. I think the rest of them will start dropping now that they are switching away from partner dancing. I don’t see most of the rest of them doing so well at having to dance on their own.

Friday and Saturday nights I didn’t do much. Francisco and I hung out and watched movies, and went to bed early. Saturday, while he was at work, I went to lunch with Xoch and we went shopping. I bought a bunch of really fun stuff for my sister for her birthday. I had to put it away because I was wanting to play with it all. I also spent way too much money on stuff for me. Saturday was an expensive day! Xoch and I bought some stuff to make wax seals with our initials. When we got back to my apartment we made a bunch of seals on the back of one of my bills. We had to test them out, and it was so much fun. I don’t know when I’m ever actually going to use that thing, but if I need it, it’s there. I bought a seal for my first initial, I rarely like to use my last initial for anything.

watched So You Think You Can Dance? I knew Jamyz and Jessica were going to get eliminated. They have been getting the shaft when it comes to routines and the judges didn’t seem to like them so much. I thought their routine on Wednesday was pretty good. I thought it was much better than the routines from Dmitri/Ashlee’s and Benji/Donyelle. I do like Donyelle a lot, and I think she could be in the top 3, but I didn’t think her and Benji did very good with the Viennese Waltz. I thought Allison did very good with the West Coast Swing, but it seemed like her partner (Ivan) just kind of hung out while she danced. I wasn’t impressed with him.
