no MAS fiestas

Posted by Tomithey on June 19th, 2006

After lunch I watched Jarhead, which was ok, but so not my type of movie. Actually the movie kind of annoyed me, too much immaturity and machismo. I would never survive in the military, those people are dumb and annoying. After the movie, I needed a nap.

Stupid Mechanics

They couldn’t get to my vehicle, so I told the guy I would take it and bring it back on Monday. When he pulled my vehicle out he said, “Oh, I spoke too soon. You’re vehicle is already fixed.” “So what was wrong with it?” I asked. Then he tells me some whack story about there being another white Monterro Sport with a problem blowing the brake light fuse, and he got that vehicle confused with mine. “Um. NO. MY vehicle is the one with the brake light issue!” Then he looks all confused, opens the door, and steps on the brakes. I went to the back of my car and said, “Yeah, it’s still not fixed. I have no brake lights!” Ugh, I was so annoyed. How stupid are these people?

Putt Putt

I’ll admit that the food was good, but I just don’t know if it was worth the visuals going on in there. Even our waiter was scary. He kept lurking around our table obviously eavesdropping on our conversation. I can’t totally blame him, we were having quite the interesting convo. It’s not every day that those country folk get a table of gay men (and one straight girl) chatting about crazy things over dinner. Especially when one of them, NOT ME, just recently slept with a local news anchor… and when another one, ME, busts out the pics on his cell phone of said news anchor that were sent to him by the other guy, and shows them to the table.

Flowers for ME!

Last night I didn’t do too much. I was exhausted from not having slept well for two days. I took a two hour nap and it was AMAZING. I felt so much better afterward.
Francisco came over at 8. He had been with his mother at the hospital all afternoon. He wanted to come over earlier […]

Spanglish is hard

Saturday night I was supposed to have dinner with Francisco and then go out to RCC. We had problems communicating over the phone in the Spanglish so we couldn’t work out the dinner plans..
Francisco ended up meeting me out at RCC later on. Dustin and Doug were out as well. I didn’t […]

Monkey See Monkey Do

I was in a good mood all day at work on Friday. Partly because I listened to fun music on the way to work, but mostly because it was Friday! After work I went shopping for Xoch’s birthday present. I already knew what I was going to get her, so I knew it wouldn’t take long. I went to Parts & Labour and got her a t-shirt, then over to Monkey See Monkey Do and got her a sticker and a keychain, then over to Emeralds for the giftbag and card.

forgetfullness

I have been so busy and tired and sick that I have not been updating.
Wednesday night I went to try to go get my brake lights fixed by the service guy at the dealership said, “Oh I can’t do it today, I’m really swamped. I’m four cars behind already and I had a guy […]

No brake lights

I think someone recommended that one to me and I need to figure out who so I can yell at them. Mrs Henderson Presents was actually really good though. I had forgotten that Will Young was in it, so I was very excited to see him.

Roller Disco and Broken Bones

That girl is some serious crazy. She was still getting dressed when we arrived, so we were in the kitchen putting together her birthday sash and getting her tiara unboxed. She came out of the bedroom and the first thing she said was “Ok, take a picture for MySpace.”

The Microwave Wars

Posted by Tomithey on June 2nd, 2006

On Tuesday Dale and I were walking to get ice. It’s a long walk, about two buildings over, and it’s a boring walk so we try to go together. We make this trip about 3 times a day to get ice, snacks, and/or a soda. Well this particular time we happened to catch a certain coworker (”Princess”) from another department wheeling a microwave on a cart down the hall. Now the odd thing is that instead of wheeling it down the closest hall, she went one building over to go down a more empty hallway.
