Last night I started working on a personal project. I need some artwork in my house and I have this thing about putting pictures and artwork up in my apartment. I like for it all to be done by me, my family, or my friends. I don’t want to have stuff hanging up that’s done by people I don’t even know. I have pictures that my sister has taken, my friends, and myself in my apartment and now I want artwork.
I decided to draw a picture of an Eiffel Tower (since I have a collection of them in my dinning room area) to hang on the wall. Then I decided I wanted to take that same pic and distort it two different ways so I could hang up a trio of pics. So that is what I have been working on that past day and a half. I started with a picture of the tower that I found on the net, and I drew it.
I need to go back and add some finishing details, like maybe some people, a bicycle, and some birds in the fountain, but let me know what you think so far. I know it’s missing my personal touch, but that will come during revisions over the next few days.

I have four days off this weekend and I am so excited! I don’t have any big plans. I want to go tubing, but not sure if that will actually happen. I need to start thinking of things to do. Today at 6pm will mark one month of dating Francisco! Time has flown by so fast, which is a good thing because it means I am enjoying my time.
Last night my sister, Eric, and I went to see Nacho Libre. It wasn’t as funny as I had expected, but it was still pretty hilarious. There were definitely some continuity errors, bad accents, and other problems, but it’s a silly comedy so who cares? There is one see though, OMG it was bad. Nacho catches on fire in the church and goes running outside and when you see him running outside the camera is pretty far back but you can clearly tell the man actually on fire is about 100 pounds lighter than Nacho. It was so obvious that for a second I thought someone else had caught on fire as well and was running out in front of him.
Overall, I really liked the movie and I will probably buy it when it comes out on DVD. I can see myself watching it many times.
