Last night was game night. I knew it was game night, yet for some reason I still thought I had the night to myself to go home and relax. Pity.

I went to pick up some photo prints at the HEB then went to pick up Javi for game night. We were a little early, so we went to Target to kill time. I wasn’t really shopping for anything, yet managed to spend $30.03. I bought a frame, some donuts, some candy, and the new Nelly Furtado CD. Target is the devil! It’s nearly impossible to go in there without buying something you didn’t need.

We met up with Eric at Freebirds next, and I really didn’t want to eat there, but I was starving. That place was crazy loud and there was some baby screaming, things clanking, people loud talking. UGH. People are SO annoying.

We went to Eric’s afterward to watch some stand up comedy on DVD and play games. We watched Mo-Nique first and I thought she was pretty darn funny. We started playing this game, “Apples to Apples”, which was kind of lame, but fun enough I guess. It was even more fun before people started cheating. Once I realized someone was cheating (and I won’t put him on blast like he did to me in his journal).

Anyway, so I decided to cheat as well. Only in this game you can’t cheat for your own benefit, so I cheated for my sister. You see, we take turns being the judge. The judge draws a card with a topic on it. Each other player has seven cards in their hands with topics on them. The other players have to put down a card that best matches the judge’s topic, then the judge pics one and whoever’s card it was gets a point. The judge is supposed to shuffle the cards so he doesn’t know which card belongs to who.

Well, what I was doing was watching what order the cards were put down on top of each other, then when I picked them up, I turned my sister’s upside down (not face up), so that no matter how much shuffling I did, one would always be upside down. Then I’d be able to give her the win. Of course, I was slick and sometimes gave it to Eric and Javi so it wouldn’t be so obvious. Anyways, my sister won by an overwhelming amount and doesn’t want to believe that I was cheating for her. She’d like to be in delusional land and pretend she has super genius mind powers. Whatever. You put a bionic arm in the girl and now she thinks she’s a superior race.

After Mo-Nique’s DVD finished, we watched Sarah Silverman’s show. I was not as impressed. I didn’t find her as amusing. She was funny sometimes, but the majority of her show was just blah. Her singing was horrible and it made me want to stab my ears to deafness.

I got to bed late and took my sleeping pill late, so I could not get out of bed this morning. I came in 2 hours late. Pity. I will stay late to make it up though. I’ve also decided that I’m going into seclusion for a few days, probably until Saturday. I’m not going to answer emails, I’m staying off all of the messengers, and I’m not answering my phone either. People will just have to leave messages and wait. If it’s super important, I might respond. Otherwise Pity.
