Last night was a busy night, but I had SO much fun. I’m not used to having that much fun on a weekday. I left work at 3:30 to go to the doctor to see about getting new happy pills and maybe some sleeping pills. He wouldn’t let me stop taking the Lexapro, not until I’ve been on it a full year. So he’s putting me on Wellbutrin in addition to the Lexapro hoping that it will combat the negative side effects of the Lexapro.

He’s also giving me some sleeping pills, but I forgot what they are called. I think it starts with a T, maybe Tranzodyne, or something? Yay! I would like to be able to sleep again.

After the Dr, I went to drop my vehicle off at the service shop to get the brake lights fixed. I think there’s a short somewhere that keeps burning out the fuse. Javi had agreed to pick me up and take me home since the shop was right by his work.

Instead, we went to Michaels and bought stuff to make t-shirts, then went to dinner at Manuel’s. Mmmm… I sure do love that place. They have the best Pollo en Mole con Queso! They also have my two favorite Martinis, the Jamaica (Ha-My-Kah) Martini and the Pepino (cucumber) Martini. They are so super muy delicioso!

M.Lo met us for dinner and then followed us to my place to make the shirts and hang out. We had drinks and made t-shirts. I made one for Javi that reads “Hecho en Laredo” with two crosses in the middle. He has this shirt that reads “Hecho en Mexico” and you know, he wasn’t born in Mexico and I don’t approve of the lying.

I made a shirt for M.Lo that read, “Tienes Leche” (Got Milk). I put Swavorsky crystals on it, and on the back it has “Sweet” written in crystals. It’s too cute. She has been harassing me forever to make her this shirt and then I finally make it and she’s not happy with it. I swear that girl is HIGH MAINTENANCE.

I was joking with Francisco the other day about making him a shirt that reads, “Propiedad de Tom” (Property of Tom), for when he goes out without me. Well, it’s not a joke anymore. I made him one last night. He seemed genuinely shocked that I followed through on it. He liked it though. I told him he has to wear it every day and he replied, “I’ll need one in every color.”

Pictures!

Javi made drinks for us while all of this was going on. The first batch he made was disgusting. I don’t know what he did wrong, but it was sick. They were supposed to be Pina Coladas, but they tasted more like chalky cough syrup. Blech. I let him make another batch, but strawberry instead. They actually came out good.

After work today I went to pick up my vehicle from the shop. My sister came to pick me up. I had been calling the shop all day and never got through. I even left a message, and never got called back. As I was walking out of the building I called them again and found out that not only was my vehicle not ready, they hadn’t even looked at it yet, and they thought I was picking it up on Monday. Um. NO!

Why would I drop it off on THURSDAY to pick it up on MONDAY? Like I really want to give up my vehicle ALL weekend over a dang fuse. COME ON! Ugh, I was so mad! Well, as mad as I can get while drugged up on happy pills. Wooo hooo! Anyway, so I went to the shop to complain and see if they could finish it today.

They couldn’t get to my vehicle, so I told the guy I would take it and bring it back on Monday. When he pulled my vehicle out he said, “Oh, I spoke too soon. You’re vehicle is already fixed.” “So what was wrong with it?” I asked. Then he tells me some whack story about there being another white Monterro Sport with a problem blowing the brake light fuse, and he got that vehicle confused with mine. “Um. NO. MY vehicle is the one with the brake light issue!” Then he looks all confused, opens the door, and steps on the brakes. I went to the back of my car and said, “Yeah, it’s still not fixed. I have no brake lights!” Ugh, I was so annoyed. How stupid are these people?

Anyway, so I’m driving around with no brake lights. SCARY… especially if you’ve seen how I drive. Heee hee. I’m going to go get some fuses tomorrow so I can keep changing them until Monday. I know that the fuses will last at least a day or so.

I’m at home now, cleaning, and updating my journal. I need to do some more cleaning and then start dinner for Francisco and I. He’s coming over at 8.

Random Pictures:

I was telling Micki about how I had planted a bunch of plants and some of them were growing faster than the other. You see, the problem is that I originally bought Miracle Grow at the Home Depot and I planted more than half of the plants with that, but then I ran out. I didn’t want to make another trip to Home Depot, and I was already going to the grocery store, so I just picked up some regular soil there. That was a mistake, because apparently, Miracle Grow actually works, and works WELL.

Look at the silver plants in both of these pictures. You can see which pot I used the cheap soil in. Ignore the green bushes with the silver plants, those were different sizes to begin with, just concentrate on the silver-white-ish plants.

These are the flowers Francisco gave me the other day. Aren’t they beautiful?

Something to say?
