I was in a good mood all day at work on Friday. Partly because I listened to fun music on the way to work, but mostly because it was Friday! After work I went shopping for Xoch’s birthday present. I already knew what I was going to get her, so I knew it wouldn’t take long. I went to Parts & Labour and got her a t-shirt, then over to Monkey See Monkey Do and got her a sticker and a keychain, then over to Emeralds for the giftbag and card.
I went to pick Xoch up at work and we went to her happy hour at Freddie’s Place. I hadn’t been to this restaurant before, but I heard they had good dessert. It was SUPER hot outside, but they set us up a table out back in the shade. Xoch kept worrying that nobody was going to show up, but she had a lot of people there.
We had some drinks and ordered food. It was a good time, probably one of the best times I’ve had at one of her happy hours. I didn’t take too many pictures, but I’m posting some and the rest are here.
Paco and I left the Happy Hour at 8ish and went home to relax and actually went to sleep very early. We were both exhausted and he’s not feeling well. I was tired because I didn’t sleep well the night before, with the air conditioner being broke and all. It’s fixed now though. YAY!
Today I haven’t done much. I went to Target, did laundry, and watched a movie. BORING. I’m debating going out tonight or staying in. I’m leaning more towards going out.
