Last night my sister, Eric, and I went to see Nacho Libre. It wasn’t as funny as I had expected, but it was still pretty hilarious. There were definitely some continuity errors, bad accents, and other problems, but it’s a silly comedy so who cares? There is one see though, OMG it was bad. Nacho catches on fire in the church and goes running outside and when you see him running outside the camera is pretty far back but you can clearly tell the man actually on fire is about 100 pounds lighter than Nacho. It was so obvious that for a second I thought someone else had caught on fire as well and was running out in front of him.

Francisco showed up and we went to have dinner with M.Lo and J.Lo at Pok-E-Joe’s BBQ. I sure do love their macaroni and cheese. J.Lo was all kinds of hyper and chatty, but it was cool because I talked to her in English while M.Lo and Francisco chatted en Español. J.Lo started acting out scenes from Napoleon Dynamite and had me in tears laughing, then she started doing scenes from Nacho Libre and I thought I was going to wet myself. My stomach was hurting from laughing so much.

I had a hard time trying to find one that had Spanish subtitles for him. Most of the movies I have only had French and English. Who knew French was so popular. Bring it On, 13 Going on 30, and Sweetest Thing were some of the movies that had French subtitles. I don’t understand that. I couldn’t find one with Spanish, so we gave up and watched 13 Going on 30 with the English captions on.

The funny thing is that I don’t watch scary movies, violent movies, or thrillers, so it’s not like I have these irrational fears from that. I think it all comes from when I was younger and my crazy mother used to booby-trap the windows and doors whenever my dad was out of town. She’d also sleep with a bat or something else crazy under her pillow. She’d make all of us kids sleep in the bed with her, or in the same room. Yep… it’s all her fault. It’s always the mother’s fault.

There are just some thing I am not willing to do in public at the gym. Looking crazy is #1 on the list. I will also not do any weird bending or stretching. I’m not going to work on the yoga ball, and I’m certainly not going to grunt and shout like some of those freaks. This is why I have a yoga ball, free weights, and my cardio wheel at home. I can do those things (minus the grunting and shouting) in the comfort of my home, while watching movies and television.
