Last night we went rollerskating, to Rainbow Skate Night. By “we” I mean, my sister, Dustin, Doug, David, Ian, M.Lo, J.Lo, Eric, Andrew, and a bunch of others. It was a very good crowd, lots of fun people.

Today I got up super late (1pm) and have been milling around the apartment doing nothing, napping, eating like a pig, and I even watched Prime. I was so excited when I put it in because I had forgotten what it was. It was a fun movie, and since I wasn’t expecting it, it was even better.
“OMG crazy homeless is mumbling Jesus! RUN GIRL!” We took off. And I looked back at him and he was totally giving me the evil eye and he started following us, still mumbling and shouting out Jesus. Xoch was all, “What are you so afraid of?” I thought she knew that I have a thing about the mentally challenged. They terrify me. Add to that scary homeless and mentally challenged. OH lord. I needed to get up on out of there with a quickness.
Last weekend when I was out shopping I saw this cute hat, a baseball cap, that had a sparkly or sequin tiger on it. I think I saw it at Nordstrom and I MetroPark. That hat gave me the idea to do a Harajuku look, or some other kind of funky Asian look for this weekend. I surfed the net for some inspiration and found the cutest pics of these kids all dressed up. These are going to be my inspiration. I’m not sure if I can pull off the look without being Asian, but I’m sure going to try.
I was really looking forward to this movie. It was made by the same people that made Bring it On, which I absolutely love. I have to say that it is one of my all time favorite movies. Well, Stick It, did not live up to it’s predecessor. I went in knowing it was going to be basically the same movie, but with gymnastics instead of cheerleading, and I knew it was going to be cheesy. So it’s not like I was expecting much, and yet I was still left disappointed.
I booked my trip to Vegas last night. I’m going July 21st to see Brenna get married! I am super excited. Kristi and I are going together and I’m sure we will have a blast. It wasn’t cheap, but it’ll be worth it. I’ve never been to Vegas, so whatever happens, I’m sure it’ll be exciting for me.
Sunday I woke up extra late. I had managed to not get to sleep until 4:30am, so I had to sleep my full 8 (and a half) hours. I didn’t get out of bed until almost 1. I did some laundry, cleaned up a bit, baked some cookies, watched a movie. OMG I watched the BEST movie. It’s called Central do Brasil (Central Station). It was horrible sad and disturbing for most of it, but it ended so sweet and perfectly. AMAZING movie and I highly recommend it. Watch it NOW!
