We need a new name for Game Night, since we rarely actually play games. Any suggestions?

So obviously last night was Game Night. We met at my place, I ordered pizza and cheese sticks, and we watched American Idol first. It was ok, kind of boring. I think it was unfair to do Elvis. The boys could easily do Elvis, but Katharine just couldn’t pull it off. Her voice is not suited for his music. Or maybe she just picked really bad song choices for her voice. Either way, I think she may be the next one out.

I was hoping she would win because I think she’s the best fit for an American Idol recording contract, or at least she would benefit more than the other people. I hope Elliott is out next because his face annoys me. I hope Chris and Taylor do not win because they will go nowhere with an American Idol contract behind them. Those contracts blow. Kelly Clarkson is the only one that was able to make hers work, and only cuz she dropped their management after the first album.

We watched Last Holiday after AI. It was a cute movie, but not nearly as funny as I would have expected. I still liked it, but it was more sugary sweet and predictable than I normally like. They really did not us Queen Latifah to her full comedic potential. I really wanted to see her sing too.

We did some coloring last night too. Not competitively though, remember I am retired! I only color for fun now! I’m told that I did my best work last night. I don’t agree, but I do think my last one did come out pretty cute. Feel free to print it and frame it in your home. It is a Precious Moment.

Have any of you ever had suede shoes cleaned? I have three pairs that have scuffs and some marks and I want to get them cleaned. Any idea on cost or likelihood of getting them back to being beautiful and spot free?
