Yesterday I went to Target during my lunch time and bought some things. I spent more money than I thought I was going to spend. Part of that problem is because something I purchased was actually $20 more than what the label below it had stated. I guess I should have paid more attention to what the label said. Pity. Anyway, it was all stuff that I needed and wanted so I don’t care.
I bought a dumbbell set that has adjustable weights and a balance ball. I also bought a scale that measures weight, body fat, and body water. I turns out that I weight less than I had originally though. I assumed that I had gone up to 190, but it turns out I’m only at 181. Yay for me! My body fat did go up though, I’m at 16%. I don’t really care how much I weight, but I do want my body fat down to about 10 or 11%.
Michelle and I went back to the gym last night, after a two week absence. I thought it was going to be difficult to get back into the routine, but I did very well. When I got home I continued to work out (in between doing loads of laundry) with my new balance ball and dumbbells. They have that equipment at the gym, but it’s so much nicer to be able to do it at home while watching TV, or doing laundry. I feel more productive that way.
I am determined to flatten out this tummy. That is my first goal, I will work on the arms and the chest after that. My legs are already in good shape from all the elliptical work and all the dancing, I don’t have to do too much with those. I’m not trying to get great abs, or even a six pack. I just want a flatter tummy. I don’t have the drive to get much more than that, nor do I want to give up all the disgusting food that I love so much.
Ok, I have to get to work now.
