Last night was game night. We went to Javi’s to play Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture Edition and watch American Idol. I missed most of AI because I am on call this week and my stupid work phone kept ringing. I got called eight times last night. EIGHT TIMES! Ugh, most of the time I really don’t mind being on call, but sometimes it sucks hardcore.
I totally rocked it at Trivial Pursuit… except the the sports questions. The music questions are the easiest for me though. I got lucky with two questions about Madonna, one right after the other. Of course those questions weren’t for game pieces, so it’s not like they helped me along very much. That game takes forever to play. Next time, we need to play in teams so it will go by faster.
Javi gave me a belt buckle as an apology for Saturday night. Isn’t that super sweet? It’s a Virgin Mary buckle! I’m wearing it today and I love it. I’ve had my eye on this buckle for quite some time, just having actually bought it yet.
Today I’m leaving work at 1 to go pick up my new hat. Yes I know it’s ridiculous to take time off from work to do this, but shut up. I have lots of OT this week and my boss will freak if I don’t take some time off. I will go pick up the hat and then maybe do some shopping. I still need to build an outfit to go wit the hat and decide if I want to debut it this weekend or not.
I also think I’m going to beg Harvey to come over this week and teach me some line dances.
