I got up too early this morning because someone, XOCH, called me at 9am. I went back to sleep, but I knew I had to be up in a bit because we had made lunch plans. I finally got out of bed at 11:30 and started getting dressed. That was after I lied to her at 11:15 and told her I was already up and just about to get into the shower. Hee hee… She knew I was lying.
We met up with Fernando and had lunch at La Madeline. I had the tastiest ham sandwich with some yummy crème brûlée. It wasn’t a flavored crème brûlée (mango is my favorite) but it was still delicious. I have a weakness for that stuff. This one wasn’t as good as many I’ve had before because they made it in a pie crust and they didn’t glaze the top into a hard crust. The hard burnt top layer is my favorite part.
I bought a crème brûlée mix at the store yesterday, so I plan on making some real soon. It’ll give me a chance to use my fun little torch thingy. I LOVE to burn things!
Anyway, after lunch we went to TJ Maxx because Fernando loves that place and he was looking for some kind of wide belt. I DESPISE that place and all places like it. They are always dirty and smelly and the worst people shop at them. The TJ Maxx that he likes to go to smells like URINE. It’s just gross. Those places are always completely disorganized and I can’t stand to sort through clutter. BLECH. It’s like shopping at Wal-Mart.
We took some pictures outside after we finished shopping. They liked this first pic, I don’t. I love the last one though.
After lunch I came home and watched Buying the Cow, which was kind of dumb, but a little funny. It was completely predictable and a total guy movie.
After the movie I went shopping with M.Lo down on Congress. I bought another cute shirt at my favorite store. I just can’t resist cute t-shirts. It’s from my new favorite brand, but I’m not going to say what and where because I hate when people have the same clothes as me. 
We went to dinner at Pei Wei and I stuffed myself silly with Mongolian Beef and rice. Mmmm… it’s like beef jerky but softer… and I do like beef jerky.
We were driving next to this car full of Latinos and I just started cracking up because I remembered something that happened Friday night when we (M.Lo, Javi, and I) were riding around downtown. We pulled up next to these Latinos in a big truck and they had their window’s down, and so did we. I yelled out (as we were jamming to Spanish music) “Orale Vatos!” I so didn’t think they would hear me, but they did… and the driver nodded and revved up his engine. That was hilarious.
Ok, so the bad news. I broke my camera today, or more accurately, my camera got broke. It still works but the LCD screen is gone. SUCK. I’m going to have to make some calls tomorrow and see about getting it fixed or replaced. That super depresses me. I don’t want to be without my camera. 
I really don’t want to go to work tomorrow. This weekend seems extremely short. I think I stayed too busy and that made it go by too fast. On the plus side, I bought a bag of licorice. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… licorice.
