Shall We Dance
Posted by Tomithey on February 13th, 2006Saturday I got up late, a little hungover, and watched some DVDs. I watched both versions of Shall We Dance?. I watched the original Japanese version first, then the American. The Japanese version was amazingly better than the American one. The American version cut out so much that you really needed to see to understand the characters. They really butchered the movie. The Japanese version had better pacing, character development, and was more emotional. The American version was just too rushed and cheesy, they added so much stuff that was worthless and cut the good stuff. Americans screw everything up.
