I was telling my sister that the Zyrtek the doctor put me on for my allergies makes me extremely drowsy and that I was going to stop taking it. She suggested I take it at night so I wouldn’t be bothered by the drowsiness. It sounded like a smart (and obvious) solution, so I tried it. Sunday night before I went to bed I took my sleeping pill and my Zyrtek.
The meeting was supposed to run until about 6:30, so we just stayed in the conference room eating and playing hangman on the huge write-on board. We actually had a lot of fun playing around and eating all that great food. We stayed in the room playing until 6:20ish and then we went home. Today I talked to my boss and he said we could still claim the overtime up until 7. Woot Woot!
As for the not sleeping, it could be my allergies. I get really congested at night and so that might be keeping me awake. He gave me Zyrtek for the allergies. He also doubled my dose on Lexapro, so hopefully that will make me less irritable at work. He gave me more Ambien, and if I start sleeping better, that will DEFINITELY make me less irritable.
We (the bowling team) went to dinner at Subway before bowling. Javi couldn’t make it because he was working later. There was some freaky old man in line behind me that was all trying to be my best friend. I DON’T LIKE PEOPLE! He was standing entirely too close to me as well. He was freaking me out. After I got through the line he started getting all chatty with the sandwhich maker lady, and kept the line from moving.
I just finished the rest of Brokeback Mountain while on my 15 minute morning break. It was a good story, and the movie was pretty much exactly like the story, although the movie conveys so much more emotion. It has everything the story does, but it shows so much more that the story does not. The movie gives you more insight into what the wives are going through, and it’s so much easier to see the love between Jack and Ennis when it’s shown, not written. So because of that, I have to say I liked the movie better than the story… and I think I’m just about ready to see the movie again.

OMG Desperate Housewives was SO good last night. SCANDALOUS! I haven’t been that excited about an episode in a while! Javi called me after it was over and I gave him the full rundown, all dramatic and rushed because I was still so excited about it.

I forgot to mention the best part about last night! Michelle and I went to Chick-Fil-A to get some food (duh) and the lady asked Michelle if she wanted any dipping sauce. Michelle said that she wanted a lot of honey mustard and the woman asked, “like 4 or 5?”. OMG, they never give you that many! They are always like the super stingiest and I when ask for 3 they give me 2. I was totally stoked. I felt bad asking for 5 (I do have SOME shame), so I asked for 4. I could barely contain my excitement.
