Last night I went to work out, I did pretty good. I had to use the eliptical machine at the end of the row, and on the other side of mine was a broken one. That was kind of nice because then nobody would be next to me; no scary strangers. The bad thing was that I kept having to tell people it was broke so I wouldn’t have to watch them fiddling with it forever, trying to get it to work. I finally gave up and just pretended like I didn’t know it was broke.

The machine I was on was one of the newer machines, and I like the newer ones, but there’s a few things I don’t like about them. First off, the newer ones are stingy with the calories. I worked my butt off on that machine and it said that I only lost about 350 calories in 30 minutes! WHAT?!?! Usually on the older machines I don’t have to work near as hard and I always get over 400. Secondly, this newer one doesn’t plug into electricity. Your movement generates all the power. That’s too much pressure! I have to be moving while I’m pushing all those buttons, trying to put in my program, weight, age, and all that. Then I can’t stop to drink water without it yelling at me to speed up or it will turn off. So yeah, it’s stingy and a slave driver!

I hit the snooze too many times this morning and I guess accidentally turned off my alarm. I woke up at 6:45 and I’m supposed to be at work at 7. I didn’t have time to shave this morning, so now I’m going on 3 days without shaving. I look like homeless man! I feel gross!

I was only 8 minutes late though! I walked in right behind my boss. Luckily, he stopped to get coffee and I was able to zoom by all sneaky and make it to my desk before he walked by.

Tonight is game night at Eric’s house. Should be fun times!
