Friday night I went to Thistle with my sister and M.Lo for Javi’s birthday dinner. Dinner was fun and the drinks (Watermelon Cosmopolitans) were delicious. M.Lo and I brought our cameras and we were annoying Javi by taking crazy amounts of pictures. He said we were making him nervous with all the flashes going off. I took a serious of pictures that I’m going to try to turn into an animated gif later, cuz it’ll be super funny.
After dinner I had to drive Michelle home, then M.Lo and I went back downtown to meet everyone at Fabric for more birthday celebrations. Only it was still early and NOBODY was out. It was DEAD. We stayed at Fabric a while, then went over to 6th street to the Chugging Monkey for a bit, then to the Co-op.
M.Lo and I weren’t drinking, because we were being good, so even though we were having a good time, we weren’t having as good a time as the rest of them. We ended up leaving the group around midnight and I dropped her off at home, then went home to bed.

Saturday I was a lazy bum and I slept in SUPER late, then did pretty much nothing all day. I watched movies and spent the day on the couch. I was incredibly tired and didn’t really feel like doing anything. I watched L’homme que j’aime (The Man I Love), which was actually really good and sweet. I highly recommend it! I also watched Happy Endings, which was bizarre, but funny and interesting. Dandelion was ok, kind of slow and not all that interesting, but I enjoyed it.
My sister called and said Target had some fun stuff, so I went there for a bit, but didn’t find anything I wanted. Oh wait, yeah, I found two shirts that I love. I can’t wait to wear them this week. I was going to wear one today, but I didn’t shave this morning and I didn’t want to waste a fun new shirt on a day when I look like ass.
I had fun at Rainbow and I danced a lot, not enough to kill my knee, but close. I think I quit just before it was about to go out on me. It wasn’t as busy as usual, and Thomas wasn’t out again, so I didn’t really have any super fast dancers to dance with, but it was still fun.
Sunday I went to my parent’s house for lunch. I spent about four hours hanging out down there. I got there around 11:45 and lunch was supposed to be at 1. I also had to go down there to pick up my Christmas storage boxes so I could take down all the decorations and pack them up. Richard was late, as usual. He seems to think if lunch is at 1, then he can show up a little after 1. Um no. If lunch is AT 1, then you need to be there BEFORE 1.
I told my mother that I would give him until 1:10 and then I would start eating without him. Mom called him at 01:04 and he said he was 6 or 7 miles away. I said, “Well it better be 6, cuz I’m eating without him at 1:10.” I was extra hungry and I was not about to wait much longer, plus the food was getting cold. Well, 1:10 came and I started eating. He didn’t show up until 1:15, which isn’t that much longer, but whatever.
We hung out for about two hours after lunch, and played games and chatted, then I left. I went to hang out with Lynn at her cousin’s house, and then we went to dinner at A La Carrera. Mmmm, I don’t remember that place being that good. I think it’s because I haven’t been in a long time.
OMG Desperate Housewives was SO good last night. SCANDALOUS! I haven’t been that excited about an episode in a while! Javi called me after it was over and I gave him the full rundown, all dramatic and rushed because I was still so excited about it.
Ok, anyways, that was my weekend and now I’m at work and so sleepy. I couldn’t sleep again last night. I got into bed at 10, and didn’t fall asleep until after 1am. I didn’t sleep all the way through either. SO TIRED.
