Friday night I watched some television and some movies. Dustin text messaged me on my cell asking me to meet him out at RCC for some dancing. I was excited because I had been wanting to go out, but didn’t think anyone else would be out because usually Friday nights are dead. There’s no point in going out if there won’t be anyone there to dance with.

I had the best time! I wore myself out dancing (and I’m still suffering from it) and it was actually very busy out. I stayed later than I usually do because I was having so much fun and had plenty of people to dance with. I saw Javi out with his friends and I saw some on-line friends as well.

Saturday I got up late and went to pick up Xoch to go shopping. As I arrived at her place I started feeling really sick. I don’t know what was going on, but I thought I was going to vomit and die. I was sweating and hot, yet cold and clamy. I thought it would pass so we went to the mall anyway. Well, it didn’t pass. I ended up being miserable and had to leave to go home.

I went home and slept it off, mostly. I pretty much slept all day because I was so miserable and in pain. After all that sleep, it was extremely hard to get up and get moving around. I watched Tortilla Soup and was annoyed that I didn’t know that it was a Mexican remake of the Chinese film Yin Shi Nan Nu (Eat Drink Man Woman). I liked the Chinese version much better.

Later in the night I was still feeling a little sick, but decided I’d rather be out celebrating than home bored, so I went to Javi’s New Years Party (aka the Lesbian Extravaganza) with my sister and her heterosexual life partner, Joe. I had a pretty good time considering I how many Lesbians were present. ;)

I dropped Michelle and Joe off downtown and then went to Dustin’s party, where I decided to end up staying for the rest of the night. I had a great time with the boys. We had drinks, lit fireworks, and munchies. Dustin was running around barefoot and so I had to make fun of his monkey toes, or as I called them, midget toes. Then as my phone rang, Dustin decided to attack me with his monkey toes. OMG feet FREAK ME OUT!

I haven’t done much today, just been lazing around and sleeping in. I watched Palindromes today. That was a bizarre, but interesting movie. It took me a little bit to figure out what was going on because they have the main character played by several different girls, so every now and then the actress changes. It’s odd, but I grew to like it.

I have no idea what I’m going to do for the rest of today, or even tomorrow… while I am off.
