I look like homeless man

Posted by Tomithey on January 31st, 2006

The machine I was on was one of the newer machines, and I like the newer ones, but there’s a few things I don’t like about them. First off, the newer ones are stingy with the calories. I worked my butt off on that machine and it said that I only lost about 350 calories in 30 minutes! WHAT?!?! Usually on the older machines I don’t have to work near as hard and I always get over 400. Secondly, this newer one doesn’t plug into electricity. Your movement generates all the power. That’s too much pressure! I have to be moving while I’m pushing all those buttons, trying to put in my program, weight, age, and all that. Then I can’t stop to drink water without it yelling at me to speed up or it will turn off. So yeah, it’s stingy and a slave driver!

AMAZING WEEKEND

Posted by Tomithey on January 30th, 2006

Friday night I hadn’t planned on doing anything. I was going to stay in and watch movies. Around 8pm Mark called and asked if I was going to go out, I had thought about it, but since nobody else goes out on Friday (to RCC) there isn’t much point. However, since Mark and his roommate were going out, I decided I should too. When I hung up with him I messaged Dustin and invited to go out, and he accepted.

No Sawdust = BLISTERS

Last night Xoch and I went dancing at Dallas Nightclub. We went early because it was a work night and because we didn’t really care if it was empty. They have some kind of gambling night on Thursdays, so there were some people in there, but they were on the other side of the club, away from the dance floor. Xoch and I were one of only three couples really dancing. There were a few more people around the dance floor, definitely less than 10. So basically all night we had the dance floor almost to ourselves.

Game Night

We watched American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Project Runway, and I got to see the episode of Mad TV with my friend Waide in it. Granted he didn’t have a speaking part or anything big, but you could see him the entire time in the background. It’s still kind of exciting to see someone you know on TV.

Parakeets

Posted by Tomithey on January 24th, 2006

Oh, so about the subject of this post. Last night I had this weird dream. I had come home (not sure if it was my home) and my mom was cutting up lettuce, tomatoes, and onions in the kitchen. She had to go do something in another room so I took over for her. When I dumped out the bag of onions, two dead parakeets feel out. I didn’t notice it at first and I grabbed one and almost started slicing it up. I was totally freaked out. I screamed and my mom came running in. She grabbed the parakeet and threw it out side to the dog. Then I was traumatized that she threw the dead bird to the dog. I thought that was super disrespectful and that we should have buried it. I went back in the kitchen and started freaking again because the other dead parakeet was still in there. I don’t remember what happened after that.

Why am I in such a good mood?

Desperate Housewives was good last night. Not as much drama as usual, but still pretty darn good. Why is Bree’s daughter at home again? Isn’t she off at college? And where was her son, Andrew? OMG that was funny when the daughter had the boy hiding under the bed and Bree asked, “Danielle, is there a black man under your bed?”

blah blah blah

All I do is go home, nap, and watch television. The television part is definitely not a good thing. I get too easily hooked into TV shows and then become obsessed with watching them, to the point where I will arrange my life to make sure I’m home to see them. I don’t want to be that person. Ok, I’ll make an exception for Desperate Housewives. You HAVE to arrange your life around that show! Besides what else am I going to be doing on a Sunday night at 8?

We’re Here!

Before all this sleep deprivation and spirits whispering, I was watching television. I watched American Idol. It was kind of boring. I was happy that little cowboy made it to Hollywood. He was funny! I loved when he said it was the first time he’d ever been out in public and that he’s only used to singing to his turkey. His voice was REALLY nice, but he needed some coaching. I think he’ll do pretty good if he can get that coaching. I liked him because of how excited he got about going, it seemed like it was the happiest moment of his life.

no caffeine

Eric met up with us later and we went to Dave & Busters for a little while. I was happy not to be bowling, I was SO not in the mood for it. Next week we’ll get together and play board games or something, and I’m sure have a lot more fun that we would have at bowling. The best part is we won’t have to see (or smell) all those annoying people anymore.

Kit Kat Cherry

Posted by Tomithey on January 17th, 2006

I have recently discovered cherry flavored Kit Kats and I have to say they are the most tastiest things I have ever put in my mouth. They are little bites of heaven and I cannot stop eating them. They only sell them during Valentines, and I will crushed when the disappear, however I think it’s probably best because if they sold these year round I’d probably eat so many that I’d become a huge fat cow.
