No Problems

Posted by Tomithey on December 15th, 2005

My doctor’s office called this morning and said they received the x-rays on my knee. Apparently my knee looks normal and there is no problem with it. So I asked the lady (I don’t know if she was a nurse, a receptionist, or doctor) what could be the problem. I asked her if it was just over use or what? She didn’t have any answers for me. I’ll have to talk to my doctor about it when I go in on the 11th for my physical. At least it wasn’t anything big. I’m sure it’s just an over use injury and I need to drink more water when I dance or something.

Urinalysis

Sure enough… as soon as I got to the x-ray place I had to go. So, yeah… gross… After my x-ray I had to drive back to the lab with a cup of urine in my car. It was kind of funny to walk into the office holding that, drop it off, and then just leave. “Hi, here with the pee delivery. Enjoy. BYE!”

The Mystery Continues

Yesteday I finished all my Holiday cards and mailed them out. Man,all in all, they were way more work than I had planned. First I spent days drawing them and editing them. Then I had to send them to get printed, had to go back twice to pick them up because they didn’t come in on time. I had to design envelopes, print them, cut them out, score them, fold them, and then write nice little messages on all the cards, stuff them, tape the envelope closed, address them, stamp them, and mail them… and I had 40 of them to do. Glad it’s over!

Friday night Mark (from RCC) came over and we went to get food from Seoul Food and we watched Napoleon Dynamite again. Man, that movie is funny. I laughed just as much this time as I did the first time. I think I will always laugh that hard watching it. Mark didn’t find it as funny as I did. The first time I saw it was at the theater with Dan H, and he didn’t think it was funny at all. In fact, he thought I was a little off for enjoying it so much.

I could have died!

Well we had a storm a brew’n last night here in Austin. It was raining and the weather was below freezing, so of course we had nice fun icy roads. Since I live a top a nice tall hill, I couldn’t really go anywhere. Plus, it was really too cold to be outdoors!

Uh-oh

uh-oh… there’s a storm a brew!

In other news, I misspelled Hanukkah on my Christmas Cards and it’s too late to cancel the order. Pity. Damn Jewish people and their hard to spell Holidays!

Not nice

Oh, so apparently someone (COUGHmarkanthonyCOUGH) read my journal recently and thought that something I said wasn’t nice. Don’t be so sensitive…
SORRY!

Christmas Card are Finished!

Monday night I did nothing but watch TV. My life is lame, yes I admit that. I get like this when it’s cold outside. I never want to leave my apartment. I wish all summer for the cold to arrive so I can wear sweaters and be chilly, then when it comes I curse it and I lock myself up in my apartment. Don’t we all do that? Although I don’t ever wish for the heat. It’s easy to forget how cold the winters are, but I never forget melting each summer. I guess that’s a good indication that Hell is going to suck.

I WANT!

Anyone still looking for a Christmas present for me can get me one of these! I want these SO bad!

Can I go home yet?

After the shopping we went to my sister’s to watch movies and so I could wrap a few presents. We watched Mr and Mrs Smith, which was ok. It was a little predictable, and far fetched. I like my movies to be at least slightly believable. We also watched “Laws of Attraction”, which I enjoyed. It was SUPER predictable, but I still liked it. I usually don’t like Julianne Moore at all, but I found her very funny and endearing in this movie. I could actually start to like her… maybe.
