Friday I ended up leaving work early, at noon. I just couldn’t handle it anymore because it was so slow and I was getting anxious to get my Christmas weekend started. I left at noon and went to get my haircut downtown. I honestly can’t remember what I did with the rest of my day. I know that I didn’t end up going out to Rainbow.

Saturday I got up early, did some grocery shopping, and then went to my parent’s house. We played cards, watched a movie, and just hung around all day and night. There really isn’t all that much to do out there.

Sunday I woke up extra early because my parents were up and walking around being all kinds of loud at 7am. There was no way I could sleep through it, so I finally gave up at around 8 and just got out of bed. It really didn’t feel like Christmas. I hasn’t felt very Christmasy at all. I’ve very disappointed in the whole experience this year.

My sister and her man arrived at noon and we were about to get ready to eat when we noticed that one of the Alpacas had given birth. So I went out with my parents to check it out. They raise and board Alpacas now, and one of their boarders had been pregnant and I guess decided to ruin our Christmas lunch by birthing.

Michelle and I were NOT happy about that. We were both EXTRA hungry and ready to eat, and had to wait. About 45 minutes later, we finally got to eat and then open presents. There wasn’t really anything I was really wanting this year, so there wasn’t anything I was particularly excited about getting. I love all my presents though! I’m just saying that this wasn’t one of those years were I was hoping and hoping for something.

I went home around 3ish and went right to taking a nap. I was extremely tired! I napped for about two hours and spent the rest of the day bumming around the apartment and watching television. I thought about going out, but just didn’t want to make the effort.

Monday I woke up early and went shopping with my sister at the mall. I didn’t buy anything, and I wasn’t looking for anything, I was just going along with her. After all of that, I went home and napped again. I do love to nap!

I went to M.Lo’s a while later for a bit to hang out, then to the movies with Mark to see The Family Stone. I really like the movie. It was cute and funny, a little predictable, but still worth it.

That was my holiday weekend. Nothing too exciting happened. I have some pictures to upload, but just haven’t gotten around to doing it yet. I’m not ready to take down my Christmas decor yet, and it’s going to be sad when it’s time to do it.
