Yesteday I finished all my Holiday cards and mailed them out. Man,all in all, they were way more work than I had planned. First I spent days drawing them and editing them. Then I had to send them to get printed, had to go back twice to pick them up because they didn’t come in on time. I had to design envelopes, print them, cut them out, score them, fold them, and then write nice little messages on all the cards, stuff them, tape the envelope closed, address them, stamp them, and mail them… and I had 40 of them to do. Glad it’s over!
Last night I did a little more shopping and wrapped some more presents. It’s getting to be quite a nice pile. I’ll be sad to have to give them all out. I spent so much time and effort wrapping them, it’ll be like giving away my babies.
Oh, so my mystery caller from yesterday is still a mystery. He was supposed to call me back at 5:15 (according to him) yesterday afternoon. I accidentally left my cell phone at home all day. I usually leave it on my desk with my wallet so I won’t forget to take it with me, but since this guy rudely woke me up, I ended up putting it on my nightstand on the other side of my bed so I wouldn’t have to get out of bed again. Well, that’s how I forgot it.
I went home for lunch and meant to pick it up and I forgot it again. Then after work I went to make a run to FedEx (for work), then went to Target. I thought about stopping to get the phone but since it was like 4:20 I decided I had plenty of time until he would call. Well, I was wrong. He called again at 4:32. I saw that I had one missed call from PRIVATE, but no message. He never called back. I guess he has given up and I’ll probably never figure out who these people were. SUPER ANNOYING.
