Christmas again!

Posted by Tomithey on December 30th, 2005

Last night Eric, Tom, and my sister came over so we could all exchange Christmas presents. Eric went a little crazy with the presents. He got me a t-shirt, a coat rack hanging thing, an Eiffel tower tea light lamp, a beautiful vase with a dried arrangement, and a gift card. Isn’t that super duper sweet?

Picture Post!

I went to have drinks with M.Lo last night. We went to Manuels, which is my favorite, and had Jamaica Martinis and appetizers. We talked about boys and Christmas and all kinds of junk. I got my new digital camera already, so I sold my old one to M.Lo. She was super thrilled about it.

It’s over and I’m sad

Posted by Tomithey on December 27th, 2005

Friday I ended up leaving work early, at noon. I just couldn’t handle it anymore because it was so slow and I was getting anxious to get my Christmas weekend started. I left at noon and went to get my haircut downtown. I honestly can’t remember what I did with the rest of my day. I know that I didn’t end up going out to Rainbow.

New Digicam

Last night I went to Gina’s house to exchange Christmas presents and just hang out. She got me three flasks that I love love love. You can never have enough flasks! She got me a one ounce, four ounce, and a five ounce size. I already received a six ounce flask from Javi. She loved the presents I gave her and the kids, of course, loved theirs.

Casio Exilim EX-S500 Digital Camera

I’ve been thinking of buying myself a new digital camera for Christmas. Mine is great and I love it, but it’s too big to put in my pocket. I want a tiny one that I can take with me everywhere. Mine is small and could probably fit in my pocket, but it definitely wouldn’t be comfortable.

Laundry Time

Posted by Tomithey on December 20th, 2005

Last night I HAD to do laundry. Seriously, my laundry basket was getting out of control and I was starting to have to wear things that I don’t really care for that much. So I spent the evening doing laundry, making dinner, cleaning, and doing dishes. Fun times.

Letter from Bea Athur

I stopped taking Premarin and was delighted to find a good selection of synthetic estrogen replacements made without urine and animal suffering. My message to your readers is this: Think carefully about what prescriptions you choose to fill. Please do not take Premarin. Please do not pay for cruelty. Tell your daughters, your mothers, your sisters, your aunts, and your friends. If enough of us refuse to take Premarin, the industry will have to change.

Brokeback Mountain

I liked the movie enough, but I expected it to be a little better. I thought it dragged on in some parts. You really get to understand that there is NOTHING to do in Wyoming while watching the sheep, and you get plenty of time to see that on screen. I was also disappointed that for a love story between two men, you get to see more kissing between Heath and Michelle than you do Heath and Jake.

Ooops!

Soon I was about to pass out. I decided to take a little nap. About an hour and half later my cell phone alarm went off (I had set it earlier) and I woke up. I was STILL woozy, buzzed, and sleepy. That’s when it hit me. I didn’t take the anti-inflammatory, I accidentally took my Ambien (sleeping pills). UGH! I clearly remember dumping several of the pills in my hand, taking one and putting the rest back. That meant that it HAD to be the Ambien, because I knew I only had ONE anti-inflammotry left.
