Friday my sister called me right as I was getting ready to leave work and she said she wanted to skip out on going to work out. YAY! You know, I’m never one to fight skipping out on the gym.

I didn’t do anything Friday night. I sat at home, watched television and that was it. I really love watching the WB on Friday night because I like to watch Reba, What I like About You, and Twins. I get hooked into TV so easily and then I don’t want to do anything because I hate to miss my shows. It’s sad.

Saturday I got up early and went to visit Gina while she was working at the Pottery Barn. They have a lot of their Christmas stuff up now and I’m happy because their stuff this year matches my stuff! Well, I’m even happier because Gina and Jorge are working there and can get me their 40% discount. Woot woot! After visiting with her I went to visit M.Lo at her job, but I didn’t get to stay long because some schmuck came in to get an apartment.

I went to Eric’s for his Star Wars party. He was having a party to watch all 6 of the movies in order (meaning the prequels first). I thought I was only going to stay for maybe one or two, but I ended up staying to watch 4. I would have stayed to watch the rest of them, but I really wanted to go out. As it was, I got there at noon and left at 9:30! That’s NINE and a half hours of Star Wars, and I don’t even like sci-fi!

I’ll admit that it wasn’t nearly as painful and boring as I thought it would be. Episode I and III were actually pretty interesting, Episode II was the suck because of the cheesy romance bit, and Episode IV was just ok.

I had a fun time at RCC, but not as much fun as I could have had if my stupid left knee wasn’t jacked up. I had to skip a bunch of songs that I wanted to dance to because my knee was on the verge of becoming a problem and I knew the fast ones would send it over the edge. It eventually gave out on me around 1ish, so I left at 1:30.

Sunday I watched more movies, because what else is there to do on a Sunday? I watched A Dirty Shame first and was not impressed. It was kind of dumb and pointless, not too mention raunchy just for the sake of being raunchy. Not one of the better John Waters movies. M.Lo showed up after that movie and I offered her the choice of La Vita e Bella or Ma Vie En Rose. She gave me the stank face because they were both foreign films.

She ain’t all into the idea of reading a movie. So I picked Ma Vie En Rose and we both ended up loving it. M.Lo was all in tears at towards the end, and all chocked up. She even said she didn’t mind reading the subtitles so much. I may be able to convert her to foreign films!

We went to El Mercado for a very rushed dinner because we had left my apartment at 7:05 and I HAD to be back for Desperate Housewives, and I actually made it home by 8:01. People are talking about how the DH isn’t as good this season, but I disagree. Last night was great, especially the part with George and the therapist at the end. SHOCKING! I was left sitting on my couch with my mouth open in shock again. I knew he was going to do something, but I just didn’t think it was going to be THAT.

I don’t know if I’m ready for another work week.

One Response to “Movie Weekend”

OMG…you left at 1:30, you didn’t get to wait for the lights to come on (which is usually the scariest part of the night).

D/H…..hasn’t jumped the shark? Ok….I KNEW that George was gonna off the guy. Now…the banging the head on the bridge railing was a little added extra, but I saw it coming. My b/f was like you…mouth open, repeating, “Oh, No he just di’unt.”
So…did Gabrielle lose the bambito?

Something to say?
