There was a quote in a movie I watched last weekend. The movies was Antonia’s Line, and the quote was something like, “The old proverb ‘Time heals all wounds’ was incorrect. It only dulls the senses and blurs the memories.”
It’s SO true. It’s my new favorite quote now. I just wish I could remember it word for word. I should have written it down when it came on.
Ok, so in other news, they are talking about guys buying girls drinks on the radio this morning. One of the hosts (LunchBox) says that if he buys a woman a drink, she HAS to stay and talk to him until he’s done talking. The girl (Shannon?) says that women don’t owe a guy anything for buying them a drink, and that she usually just takes the drink and walks away. Women are bitches.
I don’t know if I really believe that if you accept the drink you HAVE to stay and talk to the guy. I just think if you aren’t interested in the guy, then you should refuse the drink. You know why he’s buying you the drink, so why would you take it if you aren’t interested in him?
I rarely ever accept drinks from guys because I don’t want to encourage them. In my mind, accepting the drink is giving them permission to flirt with you and talk to you, and I’m not about to go through that. I’ll accept drinks from bartendors though, but only because I know they aren’t going to follow me around all night bothering me.
Last night I stayed in and watched television. I have to watch Joey, Will & Grace, and The Apprentice. I’m very disappointed in The Apprentice this season. They don’t show nearly enough of the tasks each week, and spend too much time showing the rewards and the boardroom.

Last night’s boardroom was hilarious. I couldn’t believe Trump asked Adam if he had ever had sex. How humiliating would that be on national TV?!?!? And poor Adam just said that he would rather not answer the question. The later Trump went on and on about how great sex was and said, “Some day you’ll be there, and you’ll enjoy it.” OMG I would just die. I WOULD JUST DIE!
I was thrilled that stupid Marcus finally got fired. Yay for no more annoying people left on the show. Clay really did mess up last night on the project, by calling Adam a tigh ass Jew during their presentation, and by talking about slapping asses, but it wasn’t his fault they lost. The lost because they didn’t have any structure, no agenda, and they didn’t teach anything.

I don’t guess I have watched this season’s Apprentice very much. I am one of the couple of people that watches Martha’s. I SOOO had to go and check out Adam on the net though.
I have a horrible guilt complex. I feel horribly guilty if I accept drinks from a guy and then ignore him. But my gag reflex is even stronger than my guilt complex…..and if someone gags me, I can’t hide it.
