Speeding Ticket

Posted by Tomithey on November 29th, 2005

I go in and I know what I want and where it is, and I get frustrated with having to navigate around people that seem to be clueless to that fact that there is anyone else around. Sometimes I really wish I could carry around a cattle prod with me everywhere, shocking everyone that annoys me or gets in my way.

It’s been days since my last update

Wednesday I ended up leaving work at 11. I just couldn’t bare it anymore. Work was slow and I was itching to get out. I convinced my boss to let me go early and I went straight out of town to my parent’s house. I stopped at the grocery store to get stuff to make dinner and was at their house a little after 1. I spent the evening playing Uno with my mom and my little brother, then made dinner, then my dad joined us for more Uno until around 10pm when they went to bed.

Wednesday Friday

Not much going on in my world. Monday night I went shopping at Costco with my sister. I bought a few more Christmas presents. I’m getting closer to being finished. My goal is to have it all finished before December. I may even raise the stakes and try to have them all purchased and wrapped by December.

Christmas Shopping

I watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets because it was on TV and nothing else was on. I’ve never seen any of the HP movies, and I wouldn’t say I’m hooked, but I enjoyed it enough to watch the other ones. I don’t think you’ll see me reading the books though.

Because of traffic, Andy was THIRTY minutes late meeting me at the Texican for dinner. I was sitting at that table for THIRTY minutes by myself eating chips, salsa, and queso. He was taking so long that I think the waitress was pitying me and thinking I got stood up. She kept coming over and asking me, “Are you ok sir?” But it wasn’t like the normal way they ask when they want to see if you need anything. Nope, she asked in this mock concerned tone and cocked her head to the side like she thought I was pathetic and about to cry.

Movie Weekend

Posted by Tomithey on November 14th, 2005

Sunday I watched more movies, because what else is there to do on a Sunday? I watched A Dirty Shame first and was not impressed. It was kind of dumb and pointless, not too mention raunchy just for the sake of being raunchy. Not one of the better John Waters movies. M.Lo showed up after that movie and I offered her the choice of La Vita e Bella or Ma Vie En Rose. She gave me the stank face because they were both foreign films.

Last night we skipped working out, which is never a problem for me, so I did a little shopping and then watched my NBC TV. I don’t have too much planned this weekend, but I am sure I will still have a great time. I’m anxious to go out dancing tomorrow night, and I just hope my leg holds up and I don’t end up in a wheelchair.

I watched Trading Families (or is it Spouses?) on Fox last night. I don’t normally watch it, but they’ve been running that commercial with that scary lady flipping out about how some girl “IS NOT A CHRISTIAN!” I saw that commercial and instantly thought, “Oh there’s no way I’m missing that!” I’m so happy I watched it! That woman had extra helpings at the crazy buffet!

Stolen Election

This article describes how Diebold voting machines were used to steal the election for Bush, and how he should not have won the Presidency either term.

in mourning

I guess the religious zealots will be happy now that marriage is only for them, so they can go on destroying the sanctity of it all on their own with their divorce rates, adultery, and spousal abuse. I’m sure people like Britney Spears will be thrilled that she can continue going on having quickie marriages and annulments, without the Gays messing it up. If the religious idiots want to protect the sanctity of marriage so much, why not make it illegal to get divorced?

Maybe next they can pass some amendments to have us sit at the back of the bus, drink from separate water fountains, and go to different schools. Which just makes me wonder what group of people they will judge and hate on after they are done with us? What class of people will be the next ones to be persecuted for not fitting in with what THEY think is right, or what THEIR bible says is right. 10 to 20 years from now we will look back on these times and everyone will realize that what’s happening to Gays today is the same thing that happened Black people before us… and hopefully they will be just as ashamed of themselves for doing it to us.
