Last night I went to dinner with my sister, her domestic life partner (Joe), and his parents at the Roaring Fork. I’m a picky picky picky eater, so there wasn’t much on the menu that I was interested in ordering. I ended up ordering some mixed meat item that came with Elgin sausage, pork shoulder, and lamb. I wasn’t too excited about the idea of eating Mary’s little lamb, but I was willing to try it.
I had a good time and the food was delicious. The pork shoulder was a little fatty and the lamb was a little gamey, but it was good. The sausage was awesome, but then I do love most sausage. I had a creme brulee for desert, and it was just ok. They didn’t caramalize the top enough, and it was a plain creme brulee; I like the flavored ones.
My sister got me a present, a Wonder Woman poster type thing. I think I’m going to put it on my fridge. I wish I had a special room where I could put all my toys and fun things.
Tonight I’m supposed to go see a movie with Lynn. Tomorrow I’m going to try to hang out with M.Lo, but I don’t know if I can schedule that. Saturday night is Eric’s Halloween party. I want to go to RCC this weekend, but I’m either going to have to go Friday night (which will be semi-lame because it’s empty on Fridays) or leave Eric’s party early enough to go Saturday night. That’s a tough decision.
I need a snack.

I got all strung out on lamb one time. I ate it almost every night. I would smear orange marmalade on it. It was like dinner and dessert all in one.
That was better than the time I got all strung out on Bread Pudding from Mimi’s Cafe. I would pick up an order almost every night and have it for dinner. With the delicious sauce all dribbled over it and all. Sinful. Then, when I would wake up from the sugar coma, I would have seconds…..
