Monday night I didn’t do anything but watch TV and nap, so there was no need to update. Yesterday was a long day at work, and I was going to work through lunch but I had to leave to get a break. I went to lunch with my sister at Chilis, which always leaves me tired because it’s such a heavy meal.
Michelle, Eric, and I met up at The Frisco for dinner before bowling; it was Eric’s choice. Michelle got there first, and when I walked in and saw her sitting in a sea of old people I started to crack up. Like seriously, the average age in there must have been about 75. Mine and Michelle’s ages together would have still been younger than anyone around us.
That’s so bizarre that old people find a place and stick to it, then they must tell all of their friends because they basically take over places and then they become known as old people hangouts.
There was a little sheet of paper on the table with the sides for the day and the special, at the bottom of the paper was written, “There’s nothing accidental about quality.” Which was quite amusing since our waitress was anything but quality. She forgot to bring Michelle’s Dr.Pepper for about 20 minutes. She brought Eric an iced tea instead of a milk shake. She gave our bill to the table next to us, and they paid it and left.
When it came time to get our bill, she pretty much held us hostage in that place. Because of the mistake she made earlier with our bill, we had to wait and eternity for management to fix the error. When she finally ran our credit cards and returned to the table, she stood over us waiting for us to sign them and leave our tip. That’s the ultimate in rude.
The food was ok, the mashed potatoes were delicious, but the chicken fried chicken was odd. It wasn’t just floured and fried, it was preserved in an almost inpentrable fried flour casing. The toast tasted odd, and now that I think about it, it tasted like gas. But the oddest was that the temperature in the place was about 92 degrees, no lie!
After dinner we went to bowling, and we played against the other Lesbian team. We beat them in the first game, lost the second, and won the third. We also won the match. We are now in 11th place in the league… out of 16 teams. I bowled ok, 2 points below my average. I am getting better though! Soon, I hope, I will be back to my old bowling self.
Feeling: stuffy
Hearing: Gloria Estefan - Dulce Amor

Very descriptive. You get an A+. I even got tickled visualizing the sea of old people.
I skipped bowling. My ex-b/f apparently needs to up the dosage to be a little more palletable so I can tolerate being around him. Just couldn’t do it….not even during Happy Hour….it would have taken so much I would have ended up passed out in the gutter.
