I have not worked out in so long… how long you ask? Like an eternity!
Michelle and I decided to quit and start up again next week. Yays! She didn’t have to twist my arm. Listen bitches, I have 14% body fat, I can skip a few days (weeks) here and there and I shouldn’t have to feel guilty about it! Please, even if I had 50% body fat, I still wouldn’t feel guilty about it. I don’t do guilt.
Work was surprisingly tolerable today, but only because I was so busy that I didn’t have time to hate. I know, it almost seems impossible not to have time to hate, but it happens sometimes. I went down to the cafeteria to get my lunch at 11, and by 12:30 it was still sitting on my desk, untouched. That’s how busy I was! Thankfully it was a salad, and I hadn’t put the dressing on yet. By 2:30 I had given up on eating the lunch and just put it in the fridge for tomorrow.
After work I went shopping at the Pottery Barn, and Jorge was working. You know Jorge, he was all, “Oooh, let me show you what’s on clearance!” That’s why it’s good to have brown friends in retail, they know all about the clearance. He showed me these cute coasters that were marked down to 99 cents. I grabbed two sets, one of blue, and one brown, the he asked, “You’re not going to get one in every color?”
I swear that boy is crazy. I already own 16 coasters, and the two sets I bought bring me to 28. How many coasters does a single man living in a one bedroom apartment need?
After the shopping I met up with my friend Brad at the Barnes & Noble Starbucks for some drinks. We made fun of people, and I saw this girl that could have been my new best, if she hadn’t been pregnant. I’m not trying to have a newborn tie me and my new best friend down. She had the cutest shoes though, and tiny feet, which just made the shoes so much cuter.
Unfortunately my stupid work cell phone kept ringing… it was those damn Canadians again. They are always calling at the wrong times. So I had to head home so I could look up some technical junk on the internets for a customer. Suck.
I’ve still got the sniffles, and I’m worn out easy, so it’s already getting to be time for me to crawl in to bed. Is this what 30 is all about?
Feeling: sleepy

I’d have to look in the archives to see if that is what 30 was all about!
I am with you on working out. I have been like twice in two weeks. Life gets in the way sometimes. But I have located a new YMCA near my new residence (in-waiting) in DeSoto. Hope to finish moving by Monday….and then will hopefully hit the gym harder. Before muscle-wasting sets in.
And…I’m with you on the coasters. I love a cute coaster. Last ones are from the World Bazaar at Target. They are of no use, no absorption or anything to hold the liquid, but damn, they are cute. Too cute to set a drink on anyway.
I hate the sniffles from hell, that won’t go away.
