I had a great weekend, even though I was sick for all of it. Friday, after work, I went shopping at Barton Creek with my sister. I was trying to find something to wear out to my birthday dinner thingy, but we were looking everywhere and nothing was catching my eye. We went into this new store and I found the coolest t-shirt! I’m super excited about it, and I love it.
I went home, napped for about 40 minutes, then started getting dressed and ready to go out. I had a little trauma when I went to put on my black cowboy boots and realized that my little brother has them. Well, you know… I needed some knew ones anyway, so I went to Cavenders and bought a new pair, then met up with Gina and went to the dinner at El Chile.
The place was busy so we had to wait quite a while to get seated, but amazingly I was not annoyed about it, and it didn’t seem like it took as long as it did. Dinner was a lot of fun, and I’m sure the three huge margaritas had something to do with it. I took lots of pictures, and the camera got passed around a bunch, so there were some crazy ones. You can see them all the ones that were suitable for posting here. I wish I had asked someone to take a group shot of all of us.
After dinner a few of us went out downtown. Eric, Mark and I went to Rainbow, and Xoch met up with us there. We hung out for a while, then went over to Vicci. I had so much fun bootie dancing at Vicci. Nancy was there celebrating her birthday with her friends, so we all celebrated together. M.Lo and Chin showed up, but they spent most of the time with Chin’s friends.
You know, all night, not one gay boy hit on me or flirted with me, but I had straight girls all over me at Vicci. I was dancing with Xoch, Nancy, and Eric and these random straight girls would come over and just push their way into our circle and then back me out of it.
I went along because, why not? So I was dancing with these random girls and then Xoch or Nancy would come over and try to push them out of the way and steal me back, and they’d be literally dancing around trying to push each other out of the way.
We ended up going to Rainbow, Vicci, Rain, OilCan Harry’s, and Fabric. I don’t know why we went to OCH, Rain, and Fabric, because I really don’t like those places, and we didn’t stay much longer than a few minutes. I had the most fun at Rainbow and Vicci. My new boots were giving me blisters, so I was ready to go home once last call was made. My feet were killing me, and since I was sick to begin with, I was running low on energy.
Saturday, I woke up early and got into the shower and when the water hit me I was in serious pain. That’s when I noticed all the scrapes and cuts on my ankles and calves. Those damn new boots tore me up. It was the most painful shower I’ve had since the roller skating incident of 2002.
I went to get my haircut and had lunch with Sam at Pei Wei. We spent half our meal being annoyed by loud obnoxious teenagers standing right next to our table loud talking and yelling to each other. One girl was telling everyone how the menu worked and what to order, I guess because she was Asian she figured it was her obligation to help them…. because white people can’t understand menus in a Chinese fast food restaurant.
I went home and napped for a bit, then went to Dustin’s house for a game night. We had a ton of fun playing games, snacking, and drinking. Dustin’s friends are a lot of fun. I get really competitive when we play games, even though nobody is keeping score.
Sunday I watched movies all day and napped. I’m still sick, and two days of being out late drained me. I have no energy. Right now I feel like I’m about to pass out on my desk. I don’t know how I’m going to make it through and entire work day.
I stayed up too late chatting with my new friend B on the phone, he has a dreamy voice. I feel really sick today, and I’m sure it’s this building. I always feel worse in here than I do at home.

LOVE the shirt.
You did good.
Sounds like you had a blast!
Hope you get to feeling better
